As you elude to - no SP goes up in a straight line.
I think the other factors effecting this SP is the fact we are "grouped" in with miners - which we know is not a proper comparison. So i would expect this SP to be steadily rising upwards, with the usual fluctuations, and periods of accelerated SP growth as new projects and/or results are announced.

Only thing to add is that the porphyry being on it's side lends itself to easier access and cost effective mining.

So the porphyry is longer than we thought, deeper that we thought, and now an increasing width - wider than we thought.
We know the width is being drilled further up the porphyry at c60deg, and that it is wider towards the bottom.
What's the sense of the shape as it's expanded in the past 3 weeks ?
We started with a Cigar shape sloping 45deg downwards SE -> NW , that was flatter (ovoid) in one dimension (width?) now it appears this shape is becoming more cylindrical (but wider at the bottom) ??
Is there a sense of the potential gross volume / mass and with average grades a stab at what this might be looking like with respect to the AA buy back (noting of course that with increasing copper prices / super cycles - that the AA buy back threshold may be higher than what other companies (majors) may need to achieve given their mining needs and processing capability efficiencies...)

Then the Racecourse location / asset may present an ideal fit in that region for an alternate major: Newcrest, etc.
It begs the question who is mining and processing in that region who may have future spare or expandable processing capacity ? (similar to the Greatland - Haveiron - Newcrest - Telfar (processing) relationship).

I agree with all that you say, only question i have (as a non-geologist) is that when loosely scaling hole 3 in the link below i make the thickness of the main green mineralisation that it travels through as c150-200m...
BUT i also believe that hole 3 was changed to a different location and angle - moved to the East side , closer to hole 1 and at c60deg? - in which case the current 2D model shows mineralisation wider as you say.
I also thought we were looking at "width" (3rd dimension) not demonstrated on the current 2D model drilling in from the east at 60deg?...
Either way longer drilling duration is scaling up by the hour beyond the historic points of reference we had for all 3 dimensions.

RNS indicating good levels of Cu so far , plus a daily increasing asset size (hole 3 - width), and increasing prices for Cu in the near to medium term...
And the potential of good levels of Gold (particularly at depth i believe i have read previously) given the apparent type of mineral resource you mention...

I realise the AA buy back option etc at 2Mt and this is the bar we are aspiring to.
But is it fair to say that however the maths is configured if the outcome is say c1.8Mt that is not a failure and has value to mine and still discuss with AA or other majors ?

There has been some discussion on here that we were going through a process of somebody off loading a large amount of shares (churn?) are you thinking that while that is happening there are II's loading up - hence the static SP ?
Another consideration is that the static SP is simply waiting on financial news to support anticipated growth and enhanced profits with increasing metal prices (Cu, PGM's etc)...
Or of course all of the above.

Looking at Icebergs previous blog (below) the diagram pretty much mimics what CB is saying...
basic scaling of the distances on the 2D model would show that the light green patchy area is pretty much where they have just started drilling into the alteration zone. Not being a geologist i stand to be corrected.

Interestingly, looking at the 2D model hole 2 is most likely at similar depths to the original hole BRD001 drilled by previous owners.
I do remember a previous comment on why did they drill so deep originally way beyond the readings some c500m back up the hole ?? Maybe all info was not originally shared...
I mean why drill c500m beyond the original findings ? CB only went a further c30m after mineralisation stopped in hole 1 - a typical / rational decision unlike the BRD001...

CB has always said that he fully expects the porphyry to be wider further down it's length (hole 3).
It's already nearly the same width as it's length higher up the length in the current hole (2).
And i am inclined to agree volume / mass Vs grades (risk) is working in our favour, plus the porphyry on it's side and not too deep lends it's self to an economic mine...
