Independent valuation of fair market price, and AAL have first rights but not a guaranteed deal or price.
In normal market circumstances your point makes sense, but when there are reducing supplies on a global scale and a growing future demand AAL have a choice to either negotiate or stand aside as others will be interested (just like ARCM's situation with AAL's EA in Zambia).

I agree with this - and suspect that more assay results together with a 3D model will be the catalyst - do we have a sense when "enough" data might point towards 2MT to excite the market & draw AA in?

Clearly the majors are & will be under pressure to secure additional future Copper assets.
Biden is actively trying to pacify the US tree huggers by ensuring his trillions get spent on the "new" green EV technologies rather than developing more "dirty" US mines. Consequently he is looking for the majors to expand their resources (BO, JV's et al) in other jurisdictions.
Timing - we know the majors need to act now to have half a chance to catch-up with immense growing demand (CB calls it the biggest growth in demand since the industrial revolution - i for one agree with that view).
I sense that later this year and into next are when the BOD's of the majors will implement their expansion plans they are currently only talking about.
CB and his team will be expanding and proving up the RC to the extent of forcing the AAL position by taking the decision to mine. Meanwhile, other interested parties will make their presence known as the resource becomes more defined (take ARCM as an example).
Meanwhile we have the unfortunate position to have invested early but HAVE to be patient...
Sit on hands folks SP's go down as well as up - we have invested in a discovery, expect SP fluctuation, and it WILL take time to go up...

Yes there is a "real" geological link and that takes the potential to another level, particularly when considering the scale of the area / potential asset.

Totally agree with all your points but would say that GGP are waiting on the Newcrest feasibility study results in Sept and that will re-address the SP. I am in GGP for the stability over the next few years that it will bring.
The multiple bag discovery potential here is quite real and is why i'm investing in the morning.
I see the risk factors being addressed - jurisdiction, location, CEO skin, asset size & initial results, potential of economic mining, and Gold on a future rise (economics heating up with future inflation).
The question i have is what sort of time frame for data release - is there any sense of this ?

(i don't have a great deal of experience with the implications of the size of a share issue and why 6b less might be a good or a bad thing)...
I missed out on the discovery phase at GGP but am invested all the same for the next few years. Really am keen to get some exposure on this very credible discovery phase here. Thanks in advance.

I got in quite late with GGP the early phase was unfortunately before i started investing.
Given your knowledge of both companies why at pre-potential-JV stage is WSBN SP significantly higher than GGP's at the similar stage in the mining cycle ?

I think that Leon mentioned back in the January IC that he was having an independent audit of Jubes ESG status / progression, (would be nice to have an update on this at some point).
I think a push in this area will also make Jubes stand out of the future crown too.
Probably attract ESG minded investors too.

I agree more than enough tailings to go around and to take Jubes to the next level.
I wonder to what extent having other companies in the same sector may help increase Jubes Price to Earnings ratio & ultimately SP when compared to other higher ratio's of other actual mining companies ?
With the ever increasing ESG pressures majors (and others) face - maybe the resultant raising profile of tailings recovery will be that determining factor...
