The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
His sidekick went on to be a strong advocate of Sirius and the benefits it would bring to the area, about the same time she realized what a total noob head he was/still is ;-)
Sheps8.
dogstar, it would make sense for Poly4 to be supplied wherever it can be effectively used and I'm pretty sure it will be, the whole scope of the trials worldwide and supporting partnerships in the form of sales agreements in the various forms is volume to prove up the strength to finance the mine construction through to production, having come this far although this is having some hurdles to jump I'm pretty sure that within a few years of production the only problem Sirius will encounter is getting as much of it out of the ground as possible to meet the worldwide market and supplying the most profitable market routes, not a bad problem to have once those shafts are sunk and that conveyer is rolling.
Sheps8.
How ironic, three years of winge, winge, whine, whine we've had to put up with from RUSirius regardless of the share price or progress of the construction of the project!!!.
Sheps8.
Chrisatbirdies, when you write "Maybe he's talking is book" I would have thought that GK's :
("PS: friend of mine who has scorned (with glee at times) my interest in this co for many a year now - and you could say they were right to do so...considering. Well, they just bought in today.")
would tell anybody and I mean anybody that he is talking his book, for an intelligent man to add this to his post shows the contempt he has for others intelligence that they cannot to see straight through his book talking veneer.
ATB, Sheps8.
THE_CHAIN, your thread title and response about Dogstar simply adds to the much vaunted "Sticking your fingers in your ears and singing LA LA LA, as it happens Dogstar contributed some very good arguments against the veracity of Polyhalite in the early days that gave credence to far more in depth research about Polyhalite the debates were genuine in depth from which some very influential people in the SXX narrative gained very useful information, not least some of the NYMNP people tasked with sorting the wood from the chaff amongst the myriad of study's commissioned by the Planning Department.
Sheps8. I have first hand knowledge of such.
Apologies my first paragraph should read:
Dogstar, how ironic your post in the middle of a thread about those you see merit in repetition for one reason or another, I too am in the camp that some have motives.
Sheps8.
How ironic your post about those you see merit in repetition for one reason or another, I too am in the camp some have motives.
You know very well that your argument has been played out many many times on here but mostly over on III board when indeed GK put forward some very well researched and strong arguments to your take on the subject of low potash and the pricing of such, however the argument goes back to 2010/2013 period during the core sample and early planning days, in the intervening 10 years I've seen enough evidence to give me absolute confidence in the veracity of Polyhalite/Poly4 merits that's progressed from core samples to where SXX are today, I'm not going into the rinse and repeat scenario you always wish to bring to the fore when you post, I've moved on, so has the planners, off takers and some pretty large agronomy world leading suppliers, you apparently haven't.
Have a good day Dogstar.
Sheps8.
Steadydanny, I'm pleased to say your concerns are "Wrong", the processes involved in mining Polyhalite then manufacturing into Poly4 once the mine is in production are considerably less than the alternative Potash based fertilizer manufacturers, the basis of the viability of Sirius Minerals is based on its competitiveness that cannot otherwise met by other manufacturers by a long chalk, given the uniqueness of Polyhalite's ingredients and location, I.E. UK based and 37km from Mine to Port from an "environmently friendly" aspect this mine will be a world class leading operation.
Sheps8.
"Charlatan alert.
secrets"
I hope that all shareholders in Sirius Minerals heed this warning Sectrets, he's the ultimate pied piper and makes the current rampers/derampers/ look like absolute amateurs.
Sheps8.
woolverstone, if you read the latest RNS or even better listen to the Webcast I don't think it could be more clearly laid out why the initial bond sale was removed and the company's forward actions its pursuing to answer your concerns, forgive me but the acronym DYOR could not be better applied to your post!!!.
Sheps8.
VinInTheBin, I would recommend you send an email to info@lse.co.uk to express your concerns about your deleted post, some time back I reported to them that someone was repeatedly reporting my posts and they were being removed that had not breached any of their guidelines or rules whatsoever, although I did not express any views about who was behind this childish activity and did not receive any feedback about admins actions my posts stopped disappearing along with the person I suspected of such actual 'thin skinned' behavior, it seems that the report facilitates on LSE are not looked into too deeply and just removed as par for the course due to the sheer administrative cost burden of having to do so across the huge spectrum of chat boards on LSE, however a personal email highlighting your concearns should bring about some deeper analysis and action by LSE.
Sheps8.
So as to not get involved in a long winded reply to Scootaboy/ Superleggeras bitter side swipe at me because he was very quickly found to have created a new identity after being banned from LSE and his old account under Superleggera suspended, for those who might be interested in the measure of the man I'd highly recommend just reading his posting history from the beginning on here under his latest guise, it genuinely is very enlightening to the type of duplicitous disingenuous fraud of a person behind the different guises he's used.
To think he bandied about insults like "Quislings" to those of us who expressed our opinions about Brexit to then read he now admits he voted remain is just one example of just how low he was prepared to stoop to win an argument in his own mind, to then throw his latest obsession at trying to undermine the character of my posting here by accusing me of being desperate and in denial when he openly admits a £20,000 trade at 15p that has now become an investment in his words, this investment done at a time when he was on this board relentlessly bombarding this board with deramping posts about leverage ratios during the bond sale process as though he had a clue what he was talking about clearly and unequivocally proves he was simply talking his book, his brief posting history as Scootaboy throws up relentless examples of total hypocrisy and lies and without doubt proves who the real "straw man" is that he so often directed at others on here, he has no shame whatsoever and is a total fraud.
Sheps8.
KOH, "dream on" thankyou for confirming you can't actually read, if you could you just might have read and understand the rest of my post in context to that paragraph.
Sheps8.
I can read KOH, can you!!! "either of which may incorporate the issue of new equity" there's a word in there that means new equity therefore dilution is not a concrete statement.
Not that I believe there won't be dilution but its format and timing covers a very wide spectrum of options, I also believe that despite the negativity continually plastered all over this board about potential lenders holding all the cards by one particular troll, that is not the case, this project actually holds the cards and a mutually beneficial deal will see this project realise a huge uplift from it's current position that benefits all parties not least current shareholders.
Sheps8.
"LL
so we still need to keep a date free for the £1 party then?"
Verde"
That is exactly the type of comment that gives the Bashers and Trolls the faux excuse they use to keep their relentless attack on this board.
Some of you never learn, however I'm pretty sure they would come up with some other nonsense to attempt to excuse their behaviour here.
Sheps8.
Regardless of Polyminers investment here I'm more than happy to have him on this board, in comparison so some of the diatribe that's getting posted on this board more recently it's an absolute pleasure to converse with someone who knows what he's talking about, and I do take note of his imput from the Poly Face so to speak, thanks Polyminer.
Sheps8.
Polyminer you can cut and shift as many tons as you want with enough investment in equipment but you have one slight problem, it's a bottleneck that will require more than I suspect ICL would consider investing in an old mine once SXX is up and running, one could say you might be 'shafted' as far as future volume is concerned!!!.
However I do not wish or mean to sound disrespectful to ICL's employees and sincerely hope that both Boulby and Woodsmith are productive large scale employees for decades to come.
Sheps8. PS I know Boulby faced adversity in the early seventies in building its mine to then go on and be successful for many decades I'm confident Sirius will overcome theirs.
ATB Sheps8.
Polyminer, we shouldn't have too many problems by the time we have multiple drives up and running because you lot are doing the test bed experiments for us a couple of years in advance, however we do have a few other hurdles to get over before we come to that stage.
ATB Sheps8.
No disrespect to you and your practical experience but I did discuss this volume issue with Joy Global engineer's at an exhibition a couple of years ago, they didn't seem too concerned about the multi tracked approach to reach those volumes, considering they supply ICL with their equipment you will no doubt know they are very experienced in this field, there will be a big diffence between the layout of the drives at Woodsmith compared to your current set up.
Sheps8.
Oh come on RuSirius, no ones accused you of being a "troll" a windbag but not a troll, after reading that sermon from our very own Mr book talker extraordinaire I could see why he appeals to your posting style, although he does tend to only say his piece once, you on the other hand!!!!.
Sheps8.
