Good Morning mjkismgs and welcome to this board, it was interesting reading your post and thoughts on the IPA situation because your thoughts and actions mirrors mine but with a different set of input information, firstly was the reduction in the percentage of support from the IPA that Sirius announced (can't remember which RNS) but it was clear things weren't going to the original engagement plan and secondly and by far the biggest red light to me was our MP Robert Goodwill badgering Teresa May in PM's question time about the Gov Support for this project right in the middle of the Brexit storm that in reality of all things considered was the least appropriate time to be asking our PM about a single PLC issue upon which she would have no actual involvement, that was the point if any that I should have reassessed the size of my investment here, again like you that's my problem, and I have always said on this board that if I decided to sell or reduce my holding on this company I would state my reasons and move on and not as many have done sell then continue to try and undermine or sway others, shame it seems there are many who don't have the integrity to do the same and fill this board with posts that are either blatantly obviously ulterior motive posts to get others to react in a way that would suit their agenda or are bitter and twisted about the decisions they alone made.
This week I once again traveled stopped and took in the enormity, progress and reality of this project at all three construction sites while traveling from Scarborough to Teesside, I know that many people who post on this board when the SP is under pressure as it is now in reality could not be less interested in what is actually happening on the ground because they are here purely to persuade others to take actions that will only benefit themselves, I've been involved with SXX and these boards for many years now and have a reasonable insight into the ebbs and flows of certain types of posters and it's startling just how far away from the reality of what you are actually invested in is removed from the trend of the SP movement at times, I learnt a very expensive mistake a few years ago from acting on the behaviour and posting of people on this board even trusting a most respected at the time poster on here, however I ultimately blame no one but myself, it was a sharp steep learning curve for me that has and will continue to serve me in good stead, I tend to spend far less time reading and avidly watching these boards these days, I was it was consuming a big part of my spare time and reality is we don't have spare time it's all too precious.
I'm currently reading a book called 'FREE CAPITAL' How 12 private investors made millions in the stock market' I would highly recommend it to anyone from many perspectives not least some of the less desirable activities in the world of the stock market from all sides of the spectrum, I now consider it to be a far better use of my spare
