Funny how Mr Balance Cassapinos "I will continue to post I still owe wwguk a response and will deliver it !" has failed to deliver a response to a very sensible thought out and perfectly presented post by wwguk yesterday morning that calls into question ( destroys IMO ) the pearls of financial wisdom casapinos offers in his calculations which quite honestly only offer balance in the sense that they are the polar opposite to the extreme £1.00 by this time next year brigade, the only balance that can be derived from his calculations are that they are probably 'somewhere' in between the two extremes, yet he talks of such professional background and knowledge, is there an office or connection in the land this man doesn't have!!!.

I for one am not sucked in for one minute by this persons persona no matter how well he appears to come over to some, his calculations are wildly wide of the mark and as extreme as it's possible to get, his forte would be Christmas Panto and the perfect character!!! ADM!!!. I'd be more than happy to see them take a chunk of SXX in exchange for that contingency money, again I would suggest as much research as time allows into ADM, It cannot be overstated enough the beneficial synergies and added value this company would bring to Sirius if they were involved even more than currently.

I do wish some of you would stop referring to the IPA as a lender or in any way a financier of any sort, they are NOT.
If would also be beneficial to some of you to understand that it's a taxpayers commitment to a loan guarantee they are providing and put yourself in the shoes of Civil Servants who are making that commitment of our cash in the event of this project not coming to fruition, it 'might' just help some of you get perspective of today's announcement about the IPA with the country about to go into extremely uncharted waters in a few months time, PAAA summed up TM's use of this for political kudos but reality is a whole different ball game.

Also I think it would help some of you to read back a few months as to the purpose and need of the extra €400/600 million and where that fits in to the overall finance package, sorrry but some of you seem to be totally off track about this 'contingency' money and exactly why and when it will have to be in place.

SL, you really need to step back and take some time to think about yourself here, if you read Myo's post you will see that he's asking a question upon which I gave a not unreasonable answer in my opinion, I consider MYO to be an absolute exceptional poster on this board however considering your obsession that we are all part of an "in" gang that never show descent I will always give my honest opinion regardless of who I'm addressing, I seriously think you have issues not to far away from Scottys narcissism comment and would well do to reflect on that, I had no intention of addressing your latest foray on this board this weekend as I've said all I want to say about you, I do believe you do far more harm to this board than benefit and you really do need to get over yourself, unfortunately I feel that may require something more than an anonymous poster on a share board to get you to consider anyone may have a valid point because despite you making a fool of yourself repeatedly it's always the 'in gang' that stick together in your own mind.

In the same way you could argue that a space ship has virtually got to the moon once it's left the earths atmosphere!!!.

The volume of spoil removed at this stage really is not a relative calculation of the percentage of the overall shaft completed other than purely spoil volume removed, the remaining 1450 meters are the real and very relative gauge of how they are proceeding in getting those shafts sunk, so in answer to your question, no I don't believe we could argue we are a third of the way IMO.

Stanley67, I was really hoping for some positive feedback over the waste starch, it would have been absolutely brilliant, however when I got the reply it wasn't difficult to understand why it wouldn't have been practical, the type, volume and cost just didn't add up to YP's future needs, was worth the enquiry though as they had looked into the situation.

AlanG, whilst I concur with your faith in SXX and it's BOD you really are sounding like a stuck record, only last week you were aiming your "Now I expect more stick from the so called experts who seemingly know more than our BOD as to what's going to take place." at some of the most knowledgeable posters on this board one of whom has been involved with SXX much longer than you have even heard of Sirius, so may I suggest for someone who was incapable of understanding the company's official regulatory news that you just calm down a bit, although you did eventually accept what some had taken an absolute age to get you to understand a little bit of contrition on your part wouldn't go amiss because for some conserable time you couldn't even grasp what the BOD were officially telling you let alone "know more than the BOD".

Hi Stanley/ Myo, I did contact YP about the waste starch utilisation from Mc Cains waste because it is an issue in Scarborough, it's currently pumped into the sea just south of our main beaches, despite much denial by our authorities those who derive their livelihood from the sea know the marine environment damage this dumping of waste starch actually causes, this despite a new pipeline stretching further out to sea, we have lost our blue flag status on both bays in Scarborough now and there is a very strong feeling that the outfall from McCains plays a significant part in our water quality deterioration.

However I have been informed that McCains starch waste is not suitable or practical to be used as a binder in the production of Poly4.

Upon further consideration by myself it wasn't difficult to understand why, it's not pure starch by any stretch of the imagination that they pump into the sea and the filtration required would be very prohibitively expensive, I do believe Sirius takes its own environmental responsibilitys very seriously but taking another company's on is a very different matter.
