I agree that the results should be on or near that date but why has there been no announcement from the company I am wondering. I have been responsible for quite a lot of the activity over the last three weeks as I was building a significant holding in the company but I know nothing as I come from Barcelona!!!!!LOL.

I was reading a recent post which said we know the Annual Results by adding the four quarters results together which makes a lot of sense to me. Its only from June that the higher prices were in play. As mentioned in another post its the next quarter results when we should see the benefit of the higher prices for platinum and rhodium etc. Why don't we know the date when the Annual results will be announced?

I wrote to the company a couple of weeks ago asking when the Annual Results would be released. I have had no reply which I find rather strange. I will find it most interesting when Jaco tells shareholders how he sees the future prospects now that market conditions have changed dramatically in the last few months. I have purchased a significant number of shares in the last three weeks hopefully my confidence in this companies future prospects are not misplaced because I am expecting the share price to double in the next year to eighteen months.

I found it interesting that a sale went through late in the day for eighty thousand shares at 320.65p. That is a very big discount on the current share price. I have done a number of significant sales in recent weeks and I never had to sell at a significant discount to the current share price.

I believe that shareholders of H&T will be receiving their money from the takeover probably later this week. I am wondering how many of them will buy some shares in Ramsdens so that they can maintain a holding in the pawnbroking sector. I expect if that happens that this will cause the price of Ramsdens to increase in the coming days I hope that I am correct about this matter.

I did view todays on line presentation and asked three questions which Peter answered fully. I do think that you made a fair point regarding the competition now that H&T is a well resourced American company. I believe that the shareholders of Ramsdens Holdings appreciate that our chief executive is very approachable and responds in a timely manner to any questions from shareholders.

Do you anticipate that a significant number of H&T shareholders will invest some of their cash from the takeover in Ramsdens Holdings shares? I ask that question as I have a disclosable shareholding in Ramsdens so I am hoping that this factor would be positive for the share price of Ramsdens.

If the boards are to be believed some of the shareholders of H&T will be investing some of the cash from the takeover of H&T into Ramsdens which can only be positive for our share price going forward.

I received my dividend two days ago it was credited to my ISA with Pilling & co.

Lordloadsoflolly I am giving thought to my Ramsdens dividend that I will receive in March if the price of H&T and Ramsdens remain similar to the current price which company would you invest the dividend in please may I ask you?

This says to me that they considered the shares to be a buy at 79.4p but one year later they refused to pay even 20p below that price because of changing market conditions.

I made a similar comment in the past about the company not being willing to pay over 60p for their share buy backs. If the management does not consider that the shares are worth over 60p why would others with less knowledge of the company pay over 60p to buy shares in the company.

Bangrak I also owe thanks to you by following your advice and selling my substantial holding in Sylvania Platinum my losses have been limited. It told me a great deal that the company and its broker were not interested in purchasing shares in the recent buy back once the share price was over sixty pence a share. If they were not prepared to pay sixty pence a share it made me realise that to sell my holding at over seventy pence a share as I recently did was a good deal for me.

As mentioned on the ADVFN board there should be a declaration when a significant shareholding ie 3% is reached and every 1% increase in the holding after that is reached and the same should happen when reducing a holding. This does not appear to have happened with the shareholding of Otus Capital I am wondering why that is the case.

I do believe that these institutional sales have kept the price of Ramsdens holdings lower than they should be however I don't see much downside with the share price at these levels. I expect the price of Ramsdens to increase after the interim results are out but that's only my opinion and what do I know as I am somebody who was born and bred in Manchester but decided to support Sheffield Wednesday!!!!!LOL.

I am surprised that the reason that I have been able to buy in some size in recent days has been through the selling of stock by Otus Capital Management. This makes it likely that there will be further institutional sales to come from Downing due to their proposed special dividend to their holders so the Ramsdens share price may be lower than it should be because of this further overhang of their shares.
