As my prediction of a drilling complete RNS today slowly withers on the vine I'm reminded of this phrase from the commencement RNS, "The first phase of the drill programme will target areas above the 600m level". So are they going into a second phase? This must be the longest campaign we've had already and my feeling is if there is a second phase and it has anything to do with going deep then they either have or perhaps are expectant of more funding.

Flippin heck jedster my wife just sent me an email with a picture of some painted eggs in a basket (big thing where she's from at this time of year) must be a good omen, unless of course it's a portent of doom..... tell you what go with good omen, at least you'll be happy in the meantime.

I agree Bricks, there is a tangible change in tone from MC and LR, caution giving way to almost unguarded confidence. I suspect that something is indeed in the pipeline on the corporate side but the drilling is also giving them reason to sound bullish. It's going to be fascinating to see how this enterprise is structured going forward, I think we're going to see something different from the model of explore-prove-sell, which might test the patience of some but could prove very rewarding for holders prepared to hang in there.

But if they haven't finished drilling how can we get the results? ALS seem to take about a month with the assays. This is why I've been trying to find out if we'll get them all together or in instalments.

Announcing what trade? I'm still guessing 'Drilling Complete' RNS before Easter and hopefully some clarity on how we'll get the results.

Also a smelter royalty to consider for Lundin. Bit annoying but when you see the amount of historical drilling at Toral I guess that work has to be compensated. One reassurance is I have been told that the Lundin payments are built into the economic report so we have robustly factored them into our viability, using modest metal prices, so all good.

I was expecting a better day today. Silver's been doing badly, really since the Reddit spike, interesting how the traders took control of that again. Looking to go long again soon though as I'm sure it will turn upwards once more.

Bricks in the event of CDTI offering the kind of money that would cover the CAPEX to production I don't think it is an inevitability that the 15% mentioned would have to come from a placing or RI. Remember we have Conrad working for us who specialise in pre-production concentrate deals, this could be where they come in.

Hi Bricks, good stuff this morning! Just one slight difference of opinion, I agree that AH could advise on terms of further public funding but really I hope he is principally engaged to negotiate with the bulge bracket banks. We didn't need him on board when we secured the last EU grant and so personally I see his work being focused on introducing the investment banks to EUZ. We've had enough hints so it's time for the Exec's to deliver a deal that wipes out this constant concern about placings. I agree with lor in that you can never rule them out entirely but I believe if we need one in the future it will be from a position of strength rather than a last gasp bid for survival.

Yes they are Bricks in my experience, not sure I can see the late trades to support a mid of 13.5p but interest is definitely growing. Volume improving and our normally cautious Exec's making some very confident noises. Interesting times.

I know, some of the predictions were getting insane over the weekend. The fact that their news slightly fuzzes the FSP was always going to be a drag on a great RNS, still think EUA will have a monster conclusion. In a way we've suffered from something similar where everyone dreams of a swift sale but EUZ positioning themselves to go all the way (while being a good strategy to keep all options open), scares off short-termers.

Haha, very naughty Gregpeck "Any EUA holders here diversified into EUZ out of interest?", by the standards of the two days of outrageous weekend ramping over at EUA, I guess that comment just isn't suitable for the EUA board :)
