I'm a bit confused Brikz with the sorting and flotation overall mining costs are US$58/t but even then that comes out at US$0.029 per lb. Our metrics can't be superior to that degree, maybe CAML's figures include smelting? I must be missing something.

I believe so macali, the market always looks forward and this will start moving as the pieces of the jigsaw come together making this look more and more like a viable project. Positive drilling news will help but the financing will be the big SP mover in my opinion. Believers like me have seized on the 'value event' comment but the market generally is more cynical and yes we've slipped back again. To be fair Myles has some form having talked about "Non-dilutive optionality' as early as Dec 2019, while he wasn't explicitly promising no more dilution back then, I feel we were let down and this time they had better deliver on their words or trust will be shattered.

Thanks trade I'll have a look at that link when I have a bit more time. On the licence application I read that as saying yes the IP runs through to 2023 but the mining licence application will go in during that period rather than having to be at the end but I think we kind of agree that after the PFS would make sense. What I didn't understand a while back is that you have to know exactly what you're applying for in terms of scale, mining method etc, and that is only rubber stamped with the PFS and an independent recommendation to move forward.

Trade where did you learn that we're applying for a mining licence in 2023? I know it was put back partly because the change in the mining method was becoming apparent prior to the PEA. Bara recommended something different from the 2018 SS to enhance the economics and they alighted on the "SLOS" approach. My thoughts are that once that is confirmed in the PFS they will be clear to apply for the mining licence which shouldn't be more than a year off providing the Geo, Hydro and environmental work is complete or at least at an advanced enough stage. The biggy for me is that all the evidence is that the local bureaucrats want this built so while not going so far to say that it will be fast tracked, let's just say the wheels will be oiled.

Funny old UT, I must admit despite really trying hard to fully understand the uncrossing trade I would say I'm still only 70% up to speed on exactly how it works but with my (limited) understanding of it I just don't see how 16 shares at 11.75p is likely to match bids and offers in the closing auction. Anyone???

I know this is far from highly analytical evidence but I think it is an interesting barometer for demand in the construction sector - I've been building an extension at home for the best part of a year (outside of my regular work). For most of the last 12 months I have found suppliers reporting that they are busy but more recently every time I call Build It for more blocks, insulation etc the delivery time is consistently increasing, from having a good chance of next day delivery to today when I've been told next Wednesday earliest. I'd imagine they're prioritising their commercial clients but it's clear that they're flat out.

Something else I noticed picking over the Proyecto Toral post was the absence of a crew at the rig site. That was 26th March and I'm fairly certain that the location is the northern side of Toral looking at the quarry in the background. So have they finished drilling or have they moved to the south near Campanaña as reported in the Diario de Leon (https://www.diariodeleon.es/articulo/bierzo/prospecciones-campanana/202102010232112082934.html). If they are back on the southern slopes would that mean they have engaged two rigs? Looks like there is still some liner on that cart so perhaps they've not packed up entirely. Anyway what I really want to know is why they have chosen not to communicate basic operational information this time around.

Maybe some Spanish student grants will now be invested in EUZ :) Bricks I'm hoping the predominantly white cores are showing chalcopyrite copper sulphide mineralisation. I'm actually completely serious when I say that everything they were told and everything they had a butchers at should now be issued to shareholders. We've had nothing concrete for nearly three months so while I think the event is entirely positive, it's a p*ss take that investors are behind the local students in terms of information.

Okay this won't set the world alight but this sort of engagement is really important to keeping us aligned with the locals. If I was to be really grumpy (and I think I shall be) I'm slightly miffed that these students are now 100 times more up to speed on the current drilling campaign than us shareholders are: "After the presentation, in the same warehouse, we have made a tour of the different rock samples of the most recent cores, from 2021".

Hi CHRI5P - yep further to what you were saying about getting prospects to development it's sobering to consider that Toral has been pin cushioned since the 80's. Fair enough there have been periods of inactivity but it puts in perspective what it takes in time and investment to turn a potential asset into a realistic development. As investors hoping for a return two years can seem like an age but in mining exploration that makes us a near term development.

Evening Bricks - this is where I believe the noises coming from the local government stakeholders is significant. They won't want a relatively small, but perfectly formed :) project disappearing into the back of a major's cupboard only to gather dust. We've put our roots down with the academic plus R&D partnerships and I think they will see a well funded EUZ as the swiftest route to ensuring that their region benefits from the Toral resource. Do you think we can take outright sale off the table now Bricks? I've always wondered if that had something to do with CB's leaving, as perhaps he favoured some sort of disposal. Who could have predicted that the pandemic has actually made going it alone more feasible, but the mood music from LR & MC suggests we should find out pretty soon how they plan to move the project forward. Would be a remarkable achievement to take a minnow explorer to operator, just hope shareholders get their fair rewards having been diluted so many times to make this journey possible.

Hi Bricks - that's the one that weirdly mentions TD-022 from 2019 so the journalist seems to be using old info. The first drill in this campaign should be TD-026. There is definitely something about the current drilling that has lead them to be reluctant to report progress as before. The question is what would simply saying "hole TD-026 completed.. to a depth of...., TD-027 commenced...." just as before, give away this time? Initially it looked like they were understandably cautious that Covid protocols make timescales difficult to predict but as I've said before (sorry) why does that stop them reporting the landmarks once they are reached. Of course it's speculation but my best guess is that the basic info about targets, locations and depths etc would give something away about strategy that they don't want to make public until there is some certainty about results. I suspect that's why they were never going to go public that the shallow drills are in a zone that has previously shown up promising copper returns, why build up expectations and risk disappointment - that's our job on here after all :)

Okay the following is from the Diario de León Feb 2021.
Firstly I am making absolutely no claims about gold but have always been tantalised about how close the southern part of our licence is to Las Medulás, approx 3k's looking at Google Earth. Regardless of gold it does prove that there is incredible diversity in the deposits in the region and although the slides we have access to are maddeningly low res it does appear that our geology changes in the south. So as the article says we have been prospecting in the south near Campañana, is this completely new, does it explain the secrecy? It could just be some Geotech work of course but intriguing nonetheless:
"The Europa metals company continues with its prospecting work to carry out the project for the Toral de los Vados zinc and lead mine. Field studies are advanced in this municipality, but they are also being carried out in the municipality of Carucedo, on the other side of the mountain. In this sense, the image that attaches this information was captured in mountains near the town of Campañana, in the municipality of Carucedo. Here, several operators deposited a container and pipes destined to prospecting the soil and obtaining depth surveys on the ground to better locate the minerals".

Bit strange - I noticed on Twitter someone claiming that the Diario de León have reported that we've completed two drills and are on the third. Possible but I think we may have managed more in the shallow campaign depending on how long has been spent on wedges or to what extent the drill deviation analysis slows up proceedings as pointed out by Bricks. Anyway I looked up the article (dated 14th March 2021) and it does indeed report that we have completed the second hole and started the third. Only problem is it refers to the drill as TD-022 which was actually drilled in 2019 and the depth reported also matches that drill, there are other details in the article that show that the reporter is referring to the 2019 campaign.

So it seems even the local reporter in León is guessing where we're at, question is why is basic information on the drill progress now seemingly off-limits. For anyone new, we have always been kept up to date hole by hole in the past (on factual operational info) before the wait for all assays at the end. I would say however that the Leon Diary does throw up some interesting info, more in a sec.....

By the way did this jump out to anyone else.... "Best practice, transparent pb, zn, ag development". DEVELOPMENT!!
