Been someone buying blocks of 10k for the last hour or so, if it wasn’t for the consistent sells every time the price rises this would be flying...

Was about to say exactly the same, the market price is less subjective than the ‘fair price’, and this morning that was 70p and 75p for 2m and 8m shares respectively

@Marineville - you’re making a big assumption that JD or Sports Direct value FOOT at 80p , strategically it is clearly worth more to them that that going by the activity today

Agreed on Ashley not staying quiet - it’s not out of the realms of possibility that the 8m @75p was from SD, pure speculation until we know otherwise! Also positive to see the JD share price steadily rising throughout the day...

Same - 75p first target & it’s much more believable that we’ll get there when 8m have already been purchased at that price!

All that is missing is the RNS confirming the buy @ 75p & accompanying news articles... for now it’s a waiting game. SP rising nicely since 11am though

Yep, that’s why it’s still at 50p, until it’s made official that JD paid 75p

My prediction/opinion ; after hours RNS today confirming JD have bought the 20m - gap up open tomorrow at 75p + In the meantime, the MM’s will take as many shares as possible so they can sell them at a much higher price tomorrow... All IMO

Completely agree, anyone that thinks a retained loss in the “equity” part of the balance sheet is a debt needs to read accounting for dummies... The below para from the Dec trading update is more important than ever to the near term SP recovery, we’re only 7 weeks on from this statement so you would hope news isn’t far away... “Management's positive view of continued significant revenue and EUS growth in 2019 is unchanged, augmented by a strong pipeline of influential new data monetization customers expected to close in H1 2019. The Audiens Customer Data Platform (CDP) is performing well and Bango Marketplace has delivered early initial sales, following its launch in December.”
