Be real, in 2007 there was the Great Financial Crisis, this time it's the everything crisis.
Energy costs jumping a huge margin 100% forshadow a recession, look at the charts. This time we have high inflation, supply chain disruption, food shortages and costs spiralling, a war that's going to affect global growth, farming is now commercially untenable due to the shortages and costs of fertilizers and equipment.
Private and public debt is at an all time peak. People will default on loans, the banks will stop lending, sky high speculative asset prices will tumble, banks will take all assets, the ultra-rich will buy everything up while 40% of people live hand to mouth.
Poverty has been soaring for the last 10 years thanks to policies that reward the rich and punish the poor compounding every year. I have never seen people so destitute, and it looks like it's going to get a lot worse.
Half of Europe's industry relies on RU LPG, it might well be cut off soon, and we're going to be back in the 1930's.
