But back back to SP, the bounce off of 119 made me sit back and worry about selling about, alas the top isn't as high as those on the 10th and 11th.
We do have a flag forming, it all depends whether it breaks out up or down determines what I do.
Here are my thoughts. I don't care about ITV, I hate their programmes! I like the SP volatility and predictability though!

Don't forget at 1430 when the NYSE opens there will probably be another round of selling. I'm not going to buy back in until the selling is clearly over. Maybe days from now.

I bought more at 271.8.
I don't like to look a gift horse in the mouth, 4.7% div in March I hope and I have another grand ready if it hits £252.

Anyway, I think it'll actually bottom out at 115 and unless WW3 commences, with a potential breakout and a stable range around 118-130.

Guys, Tom is literally talking just about share price, stop insulting him and his family.
All shares cycle, ITV is at the top of this weekly one.

If it was then why haven't people with a lot more money than us bought in? All we can do is infer from price action what it is worth and not become emotionally attached. I'm sure many people said Nikola was a "strong buy" when it was valued more than Ford. It's at the top of this cycle and we need to see where the pull back takes us. I am long on ITV, just not today!

Yes this up cycle gave me three to four 5% return trades and more importantly, gave me the knowledge to be more efficient next time. I see it hitting 108 in the next few days and will re enter back then price action willing!

Well, the RSI says it, and I'm a bird in the hand kind of guy. I sold out at 121.0 and will buy ITV again when the 4-hourly 14 RSI drops to 20.

Yes I'll break even at 112, not including my trades last year. I don't think we are seeing anything in the news other than a desperate attempt at deflecting public attention away from the fact they are being robbed blind by the top 0.1% and they are looking at a situation much worse than 2008.

I bought some more at 284 and will buy a fair bit more at 250 if we see that again after the final ex.

I would, and planned to sell at 118, which I thought would be the top of this cycle, and make a comfortable 5% this cycle again, however, the world is turning to dividend stocks and value stocks. I made the mistake of selling half of my stake in BATS when it hit 3200, assuming it would fall like it has before. But it's kept going up smashing the previous resistance levels and RSI. So with ITV I will stick with it unless it hits my stop loss at 115, break even and buy back in at 107-108.

Everyone else please just talk about SP.

Tom is stating the obvious.... The SP is very high on the RSI HOURLY, it is due to cycle back down to the support at ~107 p. I "would" sell out and take my profits, however, with the announcement of the Dividend in Feb, which stands for me at a 3% yield, I hope it'll break out and continue bouncing on the top of the yellow line as shown...

Oh I wish I could edit a post...

Guy Tom is actually taking about the SP now. I think the new pipeline in Germany from Russia owned by Shell has been held off from opening due to the intense US pressure. I think the Ukraine thing is an attempt at the US to deflect public attention from their terrible economic conditions and further destabilize the EU.

Any the SP has been and currently is still in the descending wedge pattern from 2015 as my chart shorts. It hasn't broken out of it, and despite rising from large drop in Nov 2020, it still is in it and high on the DAILY RSI. A drop to the bottom of the wedge would be very bad ~ 20p PS, or the the Nov 20 low of 53p. However I think the div will bring stability and we may see a fluctuation in the £1.15-130 mark I hope.

Tom is actually VERY right in a way! ITV is in a strong downtrend, and it's hit the top bounds for a while now.
It is following the downtrend still, but with the Dividend announcement it might break free. The monthly RSI shows it's been out of the full sell off since AUG 20.

I'm planning to hold this time from £1.12 and will keep for the dividends. My stop loss is at £1.15, might up it to £1.18. I hope it goes up.

Look at it's history on trading view, it's volatility is very high. It's been pumped and dumped. People have been swing trading it to the moon and back, look at '01, it hit £900!!!

I'm glad I got out last week, however it cost me because I didn't realize the severity of the downtrend. Looking at the bounds of the swing highs and lows since '08, I think £53-55 will be the bottom. I'm not going to touch it again, way too volatile.
