I am locked in now and will have to average down in the coming months or cut my losses but hey that’s the AIM..

This got ahead of itself. Until contracts are signed and revenues start rolling in this is going to continue to lose a penny here and there. The news is well and truly in the public domain . It’s down to sales now not be surprised to see the teens again

Down today on no news. Nothing new there. Would be beneficial if Oxb could give the market some figures! They are producing vaccine at the moment, work or not work .... surely they have projections.

Astra are apparently not looking for a profit on this Vaccine but the quantities needed are huge and as Oxb will be a major manufacturer ( making a profit) future figures will be very interesting. Only phase 3 to go now.

UK bank forecasts too optimistic about interest rates and unemployment effects from coronavirus, warn analysts Goldman Sachs who cut its share price targets for the whole sector and Deutsche Bank flagged the ‘sell’ sign for RBS and HSBC.
But hey, what do brokers know!

Looking fairly grim in Hong Kong and this is only early days. Not one for the investor at the moment but more for the lucky trader.

Re BRG’s purchase.....The programme allows non-executive directors to elect to use a proportion of their net director fees, paid quarterly, to acquire Aviva shares on a continuing basis.

I’m out at the moment and can’t see this hitting the previous highs before lockdown. It is going to continue to get dragged down by the general market with its numerous bad days to come. I think this is a great business but it’s very uncertain times especially for retailers. Sitting with cash but I’m an investor and not a day trader so will sit on the sidelines for the time being. Gl all

Oxb is a volatile share and the sp has always bounced about for no reason! So nothing new. The fact that it is a loss making manufacturing company is forgotten about by some but not the market. The fact that it can raise money so easily is great news but that it needs to raise money regularly is an obvious minus.
The sp would seem to have got ahead of itself recently and the vaccine is still some way off, if it works. The AGM as stated is not going to throw up any revelations so sit back and relax.

More share dilution but another 38 million in the bank. AstraZeneca’s potential vaccine is far from proven and like 90% of trials may indeed end up in the bin. We may never get a vaccine for this strain of Covid! I think the current share price reflects this. Aside from this vaccine my concern is that outgoings are far outweighing incomings hence the placing. This is basically a manufacturing company running at a loss.
For all it’s contracts it is still loss making. This time next year , eh!

As for not being involved in the placing you can basically buy at the placing price this morning . I would have been more miffed if the placing price had been heavily discounted to get interest. It bodes well that this placing can be filled at such a modest discount. ..

Broom , unfortunately I agree with your sentiment. The government has been pre - occupied with the pandemic and rather quiet about the economy and the storm that is brewing.
Unemployment, debt and the next set of government figures, forgetting the Covid, is going to send the market into a spin.

There is going to be a lot of stock market volatility over the coming months . The bad news hasn’t even started yet ! Wait for the next set of government figures and there will be a few sharp intakes of breath. The day traders will do well but the long term investors will suffer. A few good days and people get carried away as if normality has returned. We are in a recession if not a depression... the furlough bubble will burst in a couple of months.
