Blimey, Definitely oversold this morning. Hope there were no tight stops in place this morning. If it was multiple adverse reactions I could understand the sp drop but it only appears to be one so fingers crossed Astra will be back on track soon!
Hope you haven’t landed the Office manager in the do-do ! Can’t find any previous regurgitated statements stating that they are waiting for “ lab time” , intimating that the review is on hold! This I imagine would be deemed to be sensitive and not for public consumption.
Astro voluntarily stopped the trial. It would appear that it was one person who had an adverse reaction so may or may not be related to the vaccine. Wish him or her well.
AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine study put on hold due to suspected adverse reaction in participant in the U.K. Has appeared online . Should get clarification and a few more details if correct later today..
Three horses in a race or a horse with 3 legs? Anyhoo, a couple of months should tell a tale. Opps, should have said this is going to make us all millionaires...fingers and toes crossed and positive thoughts only ;-)
JohnHenry. You are wasting your time on this board. Anything other than blind optimism on this board falls on deaf ears. Eurofins for some reason is dragging its heels which perhaps does not bode well. Also suspect no great sp rise if Euro confirms their findings as it has already been factored into the last major rise. The only way this is going anywhere is contracts ! Testing for bread packaging seems to have stalled! Anyhow, only my opinion. G.l all
It’s possible that for the first time Oxb may nudge into the black on the back of the Covid vaccine. However this is not a certainty and these revenues are perhaps only for the next 2-3 years. This does show that Oxb have the capacity to upscale. If Oxb can secure other major contracts it could be a game changer. Happy that the sp seems reasonably steady. See what the 17th brings!
Morning Kern. Hope you don’t get your 750 but nothing would surprise me... manufacturing is definitely more reassuring than trials. This time next year, eh...
It could be that the market is a tad disappointed with the proposed 50 million. Many were hoping for massive figures as this is potentially a vaccine that will be used worldwide on an ongoing basis. The sp is disappointing at the moment . Let’s hope the vaccine works. Would gladly forego some profit if the vaccine is successful! Oxb’s cashburn continues to be a problem but let’s hope the interims on the 17th can change this. Going in the right direction..
