Looks like we may find out sooner rather than later how the share price is going to react. Could do with a windfall as I have helped the eldest into his first house and seem to have furnished it as well ! Sucker comes to mind.
As Seaking rightly pointed out the latest news is still very muddled but going in the right direction.

I firmly believe that the vaccine will be approved. It is shown to work but at what percentage it is still unclear ! A bit of fine tuning needed. Astra is just a little late coming to the party. India aren’t producing 100 million a month on a hunch. I’m just not sure how much Oxb’s sp is going to increase when Astra eventually gets the go ahead. Is this vaccine already built into the current sp?
OXB has transformed over the last few years but as a manufacturing company can only see modest share price increases in the future as profits increase. Just my musings on a cold December morning.

Even the toxic banks are flying at the moment whilst Oxb is treading water. When Astra’s vaccine gets the OK it could be the opportunity to get out. Nothing worse than falling in love with a share but been here for a very long time and going nowhere for quite some time. Be nice to break the £10 but not convinced we will even see that.

NatWest RBS has reported a return to profit for the third quarter as chief executive Alison Rose hailed the resilience of the underlying business and the strength of its balance sheet.

She declared her intention to restart dividend payments once the regulator has given clearance, expected at the end of the year.

“We have very strong capital ratios,” she told journalists on a media call. “It’s my intent to start paying dividends as soon as possible.”

Only wish I’d averaged down a bit more. Approaching break even and the resumption of the divi will hopefully get us over the £2.00. Next hurdle Brexit. Keep the faith.

Also Astra are to supply 100 million whilst Pfizer are to supply 40 million for twice the revenue.

Morning Kern. As you say the problem with this share is the secrecy as it’s impossible for the more intelligent than me to forecast a future sp. Will Oxb make 10, 30, 50 or 100 million from the vaccine? I am really just looking for an exit now.

Astra have been working on this vaccine for nearly 4 years and have been producing for months so I really think that this particular vaccine is a given. Unfortunately the presentation has been lacking . India are in the process of manufacturing 100 million doses a month. A few weeks will make all the difference. Just wish Oxb would give us some more facts and figures.

Could have been worse. The speedy vaccines will all reveal problems and anomalies over the coming months and years. Partially down to politics and money.

5* hotels , lobster, private planes, not to mention the dancing girls don’t come cheap. Peanuts in the grand scheme of things...

Worse than expected profits and poor news re Divi and we are back sub £3.. fingers crossed..

The long termers here have seen it all. 70% or 90% Astra are still going to sell the vaccine and Oxb will get its cut. A 3-4% drop in sp is nothing to worry about. Remember that this is merely a manufacturing company now.. keep the faith.

Agree some of the figures are a tad strange.indeed full v’s half is very odd.Perhaps rushed and on the conservative side. Earlier figures in phase 1/11 were in the upper band. Reckon we will see revised figures in a week or two.

In context the normal flu vaccine is only 40-60% effective. It’s great news and 70-90% is fantastic. Time will tell how effective in percentage terms the other vaccines are. Oxb is producing and will continue to produce so it’s just a matter of profits now. The UK has secured 100 million doses..
