Well done on Fres. Too risky for me in my old age.. squirrelling money into investment funds including Legal and General and BGCG which seem to be doing well. 30% on some over the last year. No sleepless nights..
Seems very odd that Diggle has stood down. Perhaps a difference of opinions?

Very positive news today re the efficiency of the vaccine. Hopefully break the £10.00 tomorrow.

For a company so close to total depth and a possible huge find this is a dismal sp! Only a small holding here but admire those who are in up to their oxters.

One would hope that with the issues with European supply Oxb can make hay while the sun shines! An Rns to say production is on track or ahead of schedule would be welcome.

There is a distinct lack of news on all fronts. How’s the vaccine going? Not going so well in Belgium. Any news would be welcome.

Massive drop over the last few days and the amount of tiny trades seems suspicious. Absolutely nothing from Oxb either good or bad. This has always been a volatile share but this is taking the biscuit.

Afternoon all.. looking like sub £9 on the way. Normally Vulpes steps up to the mark and buys some to stop the rot. £10 seems an awfully long way off.

Is there a problem with the manufacturing as the early batches of vaccine have not been supplied by Oxb. Late to the party and it would seem the 15 and 35 million already more than priced in...

If you watch brynjon’s news cast (7.18 post) the government state that BPC “has an airtight case.” This is the opposition ultimately and its very easy to state that you are against the drill when you know full well that it is going ahead. They stated that they will use any future leverage they can to secure a better deal. Makes sense..They publicly state that they could not and cannot stop the drill as they would be so heavily financially punished. This is politics and all about the future votes.
If the well succeeds are they going to leave the oil in the ground. Think not...

It would seem that this Indian Company Wockhardt has been in the UK for more than 20 years and employs more than 400 people. It would appear that they are actually manufacturing the vaccine and not just simply putting the finished product into vials. On the 3rd August this company stated “ Today we have secured additional capacity to manufacture millions of doses of multiple Covid-19 candidates, guaranteeing the supply of vaccines we need to protect people across the UK rapidly and in large numbers.”
Both in the UK and in India, Wockhardt has the capacity to manufacture vaccines.
Where exactly is Oxb in the supply chain?
I read that the initial doses of the Astra vaccine that are ready to be used in the UK were actually manufactured in Europe.
OXB needs to start blowing its trumpet a little louder..

Very little volume this morning. Sp has been sat at 1006p to sell and Astra is down a little this morning. You would think that the vaccine is a bad thing :-)
