At the risk of sounding boring... Coltrane reduced again on the 7th.

Coltrane reduced again on the 6 Feb... every little helps..

This is a slow burner but as bubbles59 states there are no real adverse broker ratings or cause for concern. Keep the faith and give it a couple of months..

Coltrane reduced again on the 5th Feb. Perhaps partly accounts for the rise? Somebody awake in their office. Other shorters must only look at their positions every couple of years. :-(

Animals are big business. Results have been good and it’s making increasing profits. Even the brokers are revising upwards. A large proportion of the shorts have reduced. As long as Pets can remain on track there is absolutely no reason that the sp will drop. It will have its ups and downs . As for selling at 200p we all have our own nightmares. Personally I am hoping for a takeover in a couple of years.

Did OXB sell and cash- in because they need the cash or was it simply just a good time to sell? Orchard share price has dropped quite a bit recently so perhaps OXB being careful !

It’s probably built into the share price. They have in essence merely changed shares into cash that was already on the books ! Fingers crossed..

No particular reason for the fall recently just as there is no reason for today’s rise.

Yep, penny share behaviour. The bod had hoped that the consolidation would put a stop to the wild fluctuations and in most cases it does but for some reason Oxb is bucking the trend. Half a dozen trades and tiny volume and this can drop like a stone. Very disconcerting for any would be investor. Who wants to buy and then lose 3/4% the next day.

Pets at Home reaffirmed its full-year guidance on Wednesday as it posted a jump in third-quarter sales thanks to solid performances from both its retail segment and vet group.
In the 12 weeks to 2 January, group revenue rose 7.9% to £255.9m, with retail revenue up 7.2% and vet group revenue 14.4% higher.
