I hope the Phil fellow or lady, over on ADVFN, is correct.

Overly optimistic which is the usual for that site. Even when the sp was dropping like a stone, the odd costly investment and the CEO leaving there was nothing but positivity.

Private equity plays hard ball. One year ago this was £3.00 and it was a mess. Look, time will tell. We will need other interested parties to give this any sort of a major boost. No sign of that yet .

This is far from a done deal and we have no idea what the major investors will settle for but still reckon the markets current sp is not that far away from an acceptable offer. 20-30% uplift would be a bonus. Many in ADVFN are so emotionally invested that they don’t want a sale! Figure that.

Don’t over think it. Not all posters have been here for years. It’s an open forum. In my case I only invested a couple of months ago as I’m sure did others hoping the sp had hit bottom and essentially wishing to make a quick buck on the sale rumours.

Praying for a sale as I don’t want to be locked in for years and having to average down.

Perhaps not the best run company in the world but seems to be undervalued, with some debt, but private medicine is the way forward. A small private medical company in Northern Ireland was recently sold for 400 £ million.

My only reservation is the sp is going nowhere at the moment. Would expect some movement if there was a potential bidder in the wings!

Over on ADVFN the silly estimates are coming out with the delusional folk looking for £18 -£20. Priceless🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Some good points , well made. Agree that the general lack of interest by the market and subdued sp does perhaps suggest that no offer will be forthcoming. Hope I am wrong as I bought at £1.91 hoping for a quick turn around.

Well spotted. Just shows their intentions. Why not buy at a discount to the eventual sale price.

For a company that is possibly up for sale, at hopefully a premium, the Sp is somewhat lacklustre. The market will normally adjust the sp accordingly towards fair value but there has been little or no movement here!

I’m in Oxb and private equity has expressed an interest. Whilst there is no offer price yet and not a done deal the sp is up 50%.

The Board of OXB, together with its advisers, carefully considered the earlier proposals and rejected them on the basis that they undervalued OXB and its prospects.”

There must have been some low ball discussions when the sp was a lot lower.

Would also be happy with £10.00.

The market must know or suspect that the initial offer is in and around the ball park figure of £9.00. It’s a case now of how much more it will take for Oxb to accept an offer. Private equity try to buy low and sell high so don’t see a massive premium to todays price.

This process has been on the go for a while now so the major investors must have made their positions clear. Not a done deal yet but very encouraging.

Bond Inv…it would appear that an offer has been made but wasn’t accepted so it’s up to EQT to come back with an improved offer thats acceptable to Oxb. Disclosure of dealings and positions in this offer is not required.

The market will set the sp in the coming days. This is not a done deal yet but bodes well that Oxb’s major investors are looking for an exit at the right price.

Don’t often get a leak at Oxb but tomorrow is another day.

April 2025: They further increased their holding to over 10%.

June 2025: Their stake surpassed 13%.

Key Shareholders (as of late 2025/early 2026 data):

Briarwood Chase Management LLC: A significant investor, holding around 15.5%.

Novo Holdings A/S: Holds over 11%.

Institut Merieux SA / Compagnie Merieux Alliance SAS: Holds around 10-11%.

Aberdeen Group Plc (abrdn): A large institutional holder, around 6-7%.

M&G Investment Management Limited: A major institutional fund, around 5%.

Vulpes Investment Management Pte. Ltd.: Holds around 7%.

Liontrust Investment Partners LLP: Another large institutional holder, holding over 4%.

Private equity often offers a 40% premium with a possible initial offer being made around the £7.00 level so that would make it a £10 offer that was rejected. This is only a pure guess. What’s a fair offer?

Would the likes of Vulpes and other big investors be happy with £12.00 ?

Another week or so and there may or may not be an expression of interest although interested parties may not be in any hurry or want to be forced into a decision. It’s perhaps a case of some tentative interest and SPI are trying to force the situation or feeling pressure and trying to appease their larger investors?

Good to see some upward movement which should result in a higher price if there is interest. Wouldn’t want to be short at the moment.
