Have been watching this for ages, predominantly for the Divi, but a bit of growth would be appreciated. Heavy into Aviva and the UK banks but have the majority invested through L&G stocks and shares Isa’s in the American markets, especially technology which are outperforming the rest of the world.

Not many will fall into this bracket unless they really are on the breadline…

Barclays raises Legal & General price target to 330 (320) pence - 'overweight', yet only raises Aviva to 540 from 515 pence. After the results Aviva had a higher guess from Barclays would have been appreciated. Maybe the brokers have started their Xmas parties early…spending some of their bonus’s for the great work they are doing.

Not a share to set tight stop losses on. Must be off putting for potential investors to see the sp fluctuations for no reason.

Just as volatile as ever…sub £4 this morning..

Sold the Japanese trust and continued drip feeding into this one and nicely in profit again. May see a good run with Trump in office !

The rest of the life insurance sector is up this morning but Aviva is down again?

It good to be back…could have perhaps got in a tad cheaper but every time it looked cheap it continued to drop.

Kern… I agree that after losing their way they now seem to have new and realistic objectives. We won’t ever get the massive covid boost again ( hopefully) but a steady climb should be achievable. Still very volatile….

The FTSE 250 is unlikely this time around.

Been out of this for close to three years now but have just taken a small position again. Hopefully won’t have to wait years for a return like last time… seems to be a different company now…would be happy with £6 next year.

Also added a few more this morning. Long term holder so not too concerned by the drop but seems a reasonable opportunity at the moment. Sure in 5 years the Lib Dem’s will be in power…🥴

I heard he was raising turkeys on the islands for Christmas…certainly more profitable than mining or should that be ‘searching’!

Another fund raise on the horizon and still no further on from extracting anything of value. Admire your confidence. G.l.

Seems to be on the rise again towards Divi payment day and the inevitable Divi auto- reinvestment. Perhaps guilty of being a bit lazy but it works for me.

It’s not much for a reason! Came across this company around 20 years ago when it was drilling beside Clay Lake. Yes, 20 years ago. How many fund raises has it had since then ? Still no further on.

Nice to see a little sp movement although the spread is fairly off putting . A major contract would be helpful…if only.

I consider myself an investor, here for the longterm and not perturbed by small drops in the sp. The Divi is great and the management have largely done an amazing job over the last few years . Another Divi next week…what’s not to like. When investing you need to look to the longterm and ignore periods of stagnation and the odd drop. …

The life insurance sector as a whole has been on a downward spiral for weeks now. A bit disconcerting but at least it’s not Aviva on its own. As for the reason I have no idea…..
