“This is high risk with potential high returns....not for everyone”. I agree with half that statement…it is indeed high risk but don’t see any potential ! By the amount of trades I don’t think the wider market has much if any faith.

Any holders from the early 2000’s haven’t seen much of a return…toot toot and the gravy train runs on.

Can see this going off the rails in the not too distant future. The prof was able to sell a dream and as for the ‘Irish Blarney’ he was up there with the best.

The market capital at £1.68 million is actually amazing for a company that doesn’t have anything ! What jv partner is going to invest in this circus ? If the bod can squeeze another couple of years wages out of this old dog I would be very surprised. 25 odd years of promises that never came to anything for the pi.

I believe the two ‘guys’ with the £500 k buys are actually open ended loans with SYM paying 7% interest. Probably not a bad interest rate in todays climate.

If this product actually works and is proven to work then it should be a game changer! I just have a lack of trust in the bod who after 13 years haven’t even given this amazing product a name and why wait until now to mention it?

Bluechiplet…as you say NbR has been around from the 30’s but Sym have magically developed or added a secret ingredient in 2011 that now allows the NbR to biodegrade in months?

They are not going to patent it or tell anyone what it is? They have sat on this for nearly 13 years!

Could this render NbR useless if added? Who wants 65% of the world’s rubber to disintegrate within months .

Details as usual are very sketchy and the news flow re sales are non existant.

What do you think is going to happen in the coming months! The EU judgement has done a lot of damage to the credibility of this tiny company. How has Sym developed a game changing product and huge multinationals haven’t? Why is the sp still in the doldrums?

I think there is a lot of spin with no substance but I hope I am wrong.

When you talk about the placing that was back in March and the sp has done diddly squat since and the further investment by its largest shareholders is a matter of having to invest to keep the company going.

NbR was first developed in 2011 but was put on the back burner ! If this is a revolutionary product then the management have a lot of questions to answer !

Hopefully get a good run towards Christmas and some news in the new year. £6 next year, hopefully.

This is going to go bust in the next couple of years ! What major investor in their right mind is going to shove a load of money into a company which has been selling a dream for 20 odd years with nothing to show for it apart from some fancy salaries and a JV partner who departed having spent £5 million.

I would love to see this succeed but money must be getting very tight and options must be very limited. G.l all

If this is so revolutionary why is the sp stagnant. If NbR is 20% of the plastic product there is still 80% plastic that is magically going to biodegrade ?

Just the musings of a disheartened shareholder…would love nothing more than to see this transform Sym.

Surely any company thinking of buying this will need to fully understand what they are adding to their products. Smells a bit like the bread packaging which was set to change the world.

There have been a lot of false dawns and promises and being a long term holder have seen my holding decimated. I still see no reason to average down unfortunately ! The share price perhaps reflects this…

It’s always hard to find bottom ! How many times did people average down when this was dropping from £15 to £1.60 ish thinking it couldn’t go any lower. I’m back in again with a modest punt and see where it goes. Just think how much those big investors have lost over the last couple of years and they are supposed to know what they are doing… there’s a lot of blind luck…
