I've just shorted the MAG7 x3. Can see it dropping again after Asian markets performance overnight.

The circle line is 17 miles long. The area of a circle 17 miles in circumference and 22 miles squared. That's also about 5.4 miles in diameter.

The largest open-pit mine in the world is the Bingham Canyon Mine, Utah, spanning approximately 2.5 miles wide and approximately 3 square miles. It has produced more copper than any other mine in history, exceeding 19 million tonnes or approximately 190,000 tonnes a year on average. But it's low-grade, averaging around 0.44%. This has up to 16%!!!

So Mostaza is considerably larger than Bingham Canyon and has many multiples of copper grade. Even if they only got 190,000 tonnes out of Mostaza a year that's £1bn!!! And we've got a valuation of £22m!!! 😂

If I've got my figures wrong I apologise. But it looks like we're all sitting on a fortune here!!!

I can't believe how under the radar this is. In one of the company presentations they said the size of one mine is the same area as inside London's circle line. Think of that with the results they're getting!

I'll spell it out. For days he's posted on Truth Social that there won't be a pause. That the only way tariffs will come off is if other countries cut his fantasy tariffs on the US. Now he's unilaterally paused US tariffs. Of course it's a climb down. He's in way over his head. His tarrifs are stupid on so many levels. The best one so far 40 odd % on Lesotho because they have a trade surplus with the US. They export a few hundred million $ worth of diamonds a year to the US. They are one of the poorest countries in the world. How they hell are they going to buy more US goods?!!! Perhaps Trump and Navaroo think firms can move the diamond mines to the US 🤣🤣🤣

Firstly no one pays 17.5%. It was 17.5% then Darling cut it to 15% to stimulate the economy after the banking caused crash of 08. Then Osborne raised it to 20%. Goods/services are taxed at 0, 5 or 20% with businesses below the £85k turnover threshold charging 0 VAT on everything. But the point is ALL companies trading in the UK are treated the same. An importer can reclaim the import VAT paid by a US importer so that will be reflected in the price the importer is willing to pay for the goods. So it doesn't distort trade!

How can tarrifs fund the US gov??!! Please do some basic research and do an economics 101 course then come back with some intelligent analysis. "Trump is our saviour"??!! 😂 😂 😂

I agree. It wasn't me that said that was his plan. I was responding to another post.

He also didn't understand VAT. He claimed it distorted trade because it was a tax on US imports. But he didn't know or understand that a) all firms pay VAT, including domestic firms so how can that distort trade; and b) firms can reclaim the VAT even US firms. Thankfully someone has been able to explain this to him so he understands it. He's not mentioned VAT when he announced tarrifs.
