MMs taking the p*ss here. Why no spread of 0.05 rather than 0.1 at such low prices??!!

Up 20% in a day on no news, then back down 20% on no news in two trading days. And the thing that really annoys me is I can't sell any even if we get a 20% rise on no news because we are waiting for news and it could shoot up even more if the news drops after the 20% rise.

Crazy volatility. The 20% rise with no news on Friday now wiped out. I sold MILA shares that had done nothing for months to buy more HAMA on Thursday at 3.95p. Now MILA up 20% since I sold and the profit I had from Thursday here is wiped out!

I'm genuinely excited for 7am tomorrow. Given big buying on Friday on no news there must be news imminently. But SWC shows you need to exit at the right time; peaked at £5 on 20 June and now £1.87. This isn't one to potentially hold for years.

@dickie3times - exactly. My neighbour sold NVIDIA for £50k profit in 2015. He'd have over £1m now!

What we do know is Nick has an aim of £100m mcap in the short term. That's 20p a share on current shares issued. I believe he'll do it so I'm still in. Up to others to decide if they believe him or not!

Great start to the day. HAMA usually falls like a stone in the morning and rises in the afternoon. Feels like a bit rise by close.

I just topped up 122k at 3.97p. Insane price here. Hopefully back up to 7p in a week or so.

@barnetpeter - it isn't falling like a knife. It was gradually trended down on very low volumes. If it had suddenly tanked 50% on high volumes then yes I'd be worried. Given the results and the location I expect a JV or a takeover from the majors. We just need to wait.

Why haven't HAMA issued a RNS on the back of the FAU one? Along the lines of "FAU have now completed their fundraising and will pay £Xm on XXXX to HAMA. We will use this funds to purchase Bitcoin". I suspect the FAU RNS has passed UK investors by.

This is the most frustrating share I've owned. No news to justify dropping more than 50% and a consistent over 20% spread on very low volumes. I think I might "sell in May and go away" next year. I'd have made so much more money putting this investment in a tracker.

Yes Aklee. I will probably top slice at 20p, so about £100m mcap. I’ve only got £1,800 invested here. The rest is profit anyway.

This has now stabilised around 5p. This shows market confidence in the strategy. I don’t expect this to move until we have a significant update. Time to top up if you’ve got the cash. GLA DYOR!!!

Agreed. Very few trades and volume. Once people come back from the beach this will move.

Tom needs to be careful. I haven’t read the full article 86KB posted but it seems to suggest she was involved with Bernie Madoff. From what I can see she was a victim of his, not an accomplice! If he’s suggesting she was an accomplice then that’s potentially libellous.

Agreed uNkwn. I saw one poster write that he just followed the crowd and sold on Friday, only to moan about people following the crowd. That’s like someone sitting in a traffic jam and moaning about the traffic jam. You are the traffic jam!!! 🤪
