RE: Production at Alpala in 202530 Sep 2021 10:35
"SharketMare that's not true, it's how some on here try to give me a label.
I form my opinions on what the company says and the accompanying evidence."
Morning Quady, I'm sorry but I have read enough posts on here from you claiming that the company line is gospel to know that the above is nonsense. You regularly choose to ignore or disregard accompanying evidence that does not fit your narrative about SOLG taking Alpala to production, e.g. Warren Irwin's opinions expressed on Twitter.
Who do you believe knows more about when Cascabel is first going to be a copper/gold producing mine, SOLG's interim CEO or Ecuador's president? Even 2026 is optimistic IMO given SOLG's inability to stick to a self-set deadline.
Finally, I would ask you to consider this thought experiment. You are a CEO who is sitting on a Tier 1 copper/gold discovery, one of the greatest in recent times, and want to sell the company. One of your major shareholders approaches you and asks your intentions for the future of the business. Do you a) state your intention to sell the company so that he knows it is up for sale and has a greater chance of buying you out on the cheap or b) tell him that your intention is to become a major miner and that getting his hands on your asset is going to be hard work?
As long as I have held here you have insisted on SOLG taking this to production because of what the company has told us. Today and last night you claim we have a conflict of info because the President of Ecuador has said production in 2025 and the company says 2026. You pick and choose when to believe what the company says.
Unlike some others on here, I respect and value your contributions (by and large) to this board (I think you provide a much needed counter-balance to the "this is about to be taken over" brigade), but there is a lack of consistency in your logic and reasoning from time to time that needs calling out.
All best
