Yes Karl, I know a few on here including myself who cannot wait for the results inJanuary that will most probably confirm that this is a special find. Surely 2 majors can’t be wrong.

Karl, never mind about Brad, If you can’t be a little rampish when you are sitting on something special with 2 majors and a free carry then I don’t know when you can.

NewmontGold It will be huge. These guys have the latest up to date equipment and the expertise to be able to interpret the results. There is always a chance that any company can sometimes not get it 100% correct but when you have 2 majors all over it then you can deduce with some certainty that this is going to be a massive.

I have colleagues who hold this stock who were teasing me that UFO had been outperforming OMI this past week which was true. However I did warn them that their stock would rise and then plummet which is now happening and it looks that they will lose all the gains shortly. They are now pointing out that OMI is also falling but as I pointed out to them we have 2 majors on side and everything in place to start drilling plus free carry so have a solid foundation opposed to UFO who have none of these things. Have faith in OMI as our SP might fall but not collapse due to our solid position and I look forward to comparing the OMI v UFO share price come the first quarter of next year. Showing some patience here for a few months will reap great rewards for those who are prepared to wait.

Down at opening but coming back hopefully

Found my trade on here 30,266 showing at 08.51 and my buy is showing as a sell? I know this sites information is a bit behind but getting it this wrong is worrying.

Just managed a top up of 30,266 with no issues.

Munch box I think think you will find that the final grades will be in line with expectations or greater. I would think that with all their expertise and specialist equipment I would rather trust our 2 majors judgement in our potential rather than someone called munch box.

Up over 14% then down over 10% huge swings?

Karl I appreciate your concerns about shareholders not realising full value if we are bought out but but surely if such a buyout was on the cards then it would be based on a huge resource being confirmed . If this was the case then the shareprice would have gone into orbit already so we would not be that cheap to buy anymore. Some results are due by January and if favourable then the shareprice will automatically reflect the size of the discovery so we will certainly get some decent shareholder value prior to any sale and talk of the sale itself will increase value further.

Toonarmy2011 Everything you have stated makes complete sense. I totally agree that the amount of gold in the asset will take a few months to establish but these guys are the world leaders at what they do so you can bet the estimation will be accurate. Although it would make perfect sense for Omi to be bought out, I am sure that by then if the reserves are in line with what we think then the share price would already be a pound to two so it would be very interesting how much any buyout would be worth.

Spurs never mind I’m sure watching OMI over the next few months will soon cheer you up for sure.

Mickey, great analysis and I would add to it that oil prices are extremely low now and for the foreseeable future which makes it cheaper to mine plus the gold price will increase for sure so the margins are going to be greater than ever. It’s like all the planets have aligned at the right time.

DrRemington its often difficult to gauge how long it would take to get to 100 mill market cap but this is no ordinary situation. Most juniors take ages to get to our position of being fully funded and in partnership with 2 majors. Our partners are keen to start and have the expertise and everything ready to go and this is being reflected in the sharp rises to the SP. We have everything in our favour and can just sit back whilst eagerly awaiting the results which could propel the SP even further.
For me the next few months should be filled with much news and updates and I can imagine the excitement this will generate especially if our results are good. If things go well, our only dilemma will, be trying to work out how high our share price can go and I'm sure that will be a very pleasurable journey for all.
