DrRemmington I’m sure there is a formula they must use for such a buyout. Obviously the higher the mcap is at the time will be s major factor one would think but also the worth of the asset being the other. Either way the SP will fold multiple times by the time we’ve reached that crossroads.

NewmontGold I totally agree that omI has more than the potential to match the GGP mcap. Plus this will also be achieved pretty quickly with 2 majors on board. My biggest fear is that omi will be bought out before it reaches the GGP market cap and will lose out on reaching its full potential. Even so I’m sure that if omi was sold then the SP would still reflect a fair amount of thevasset which we are hopefully sitting on.

Rob in the grand scheme of things I agree it makes no difference at all but it may be a last chance at these low prices for a top up.

Surely with drilling about 2 -3 weeks away and the possibility of a few RNS updates then it is hard to envisage that’s there will be many more occasions when the SP dips below 30p. There may be a chance it might happen in the next week or so but don’t you think that this will be the last opportunity to see these low prices?

Bhargav in the last 12 months alone ggp went from 1.8p to over 22p today. As many investors are using ggp to some extent as a bit of a template then I would certainly settle for similar rise over such a short period.

Thanks bhargav, I'm pretty sure the first essay will give us a good indication at how big this is. I'm also sure that the share price would run away on positive results. You have mentioned 2022 a few times and I think that given our advanced situation then I'm sure a fair amount of value would have been added by this point. I have also resigned myself to a similar timeframe and you never know we might even be bought out by then taking the dilemma out of our hands but as you say it should have returned many folds by then.

Expru2000 I'm sure it won't take 9 years to realise the potential here and if you own a fair chunk of shares then you will, be retiring early for sure.

middleEastMoney if as you say everything comes together and we are sitting on first rate asset then although the SP will rocket, the dilemma would be when to sell up.
There are many examples whereby a share has exploded beyond anyone's expectations and we have all heard tales of PIs selling for a pound when the share went on to make £20. If we reach that point of the share exploding then I wonder how many will, hold their nerve to benefit from the heady heights of where it could eventually settle ?
