Willie you can never guarantee anything on AIM and we have not had any drill results to ultimately prove what is there. We have suffered a delayed Drilling update and subdued RNS and have suffered a placing that could have been timed better to minimise dilution. Saying all that, we have an asset in a region that is rich with deposits and 2 JV partners who have just started drilling plus we are funded for a good while now so this will go one of 3 ways.
1 The drill results are not as expected and we wallow around for a while looking for better results whilst the SP keeps dropping.
2 The results are fantastic and the JV partners throw more resources at the asset to exploit a huge find and the SP goes into orbit.
3 The results are fantastic and we are bought out which again will significantly increase the SP.
Given our position (in my opinion) we are more likely to succeed than fail but of course I could be wrong.

A drill update will not rescue the SP especially to the levels that have been lost the past 2 months. A delayed and subdued RNS has put paid to that in the run up to Christmas so thank Santa Brad for that one. Despite Brad, I’m sure that the assay results will be positive so it’s on that news that the SP will move as so far we have proved nothing of significance to the market.

There are many times when this site is down. About a month ago it was down almost every day so telegram came to the rescue. Also it’s easier to paste links to telegram and it’s quicker and more user friendly.

PS, yes the mantra “in Graham we trust” is still pretty much alive until proven otherwise.

Given that we have been drilling for over 2 weeks now, it is highly likely that Brad has had a sneak peek at the drill results thus far so it will be interesting how upbeat he is during the presentation as this will be a good indication as to how things are going.

chrysoberyl I’ve been wondering the same. I was expecting a triumphant announcement of the drilling along with a clear drill plan and what we got is a very subdued mention of drilling that was 2 weeks out of date. This to me is very strange indeed. As I’ve mentioned before considering we’ve been drilling for a fortnight then Brad must have had a sneak peek of the results so far and it’s a little worrying the RNS wasn’t a little bit more detailed or upbeat. It’s almost as if they purposely don’t want the share price to increase at this time but that doesn’t make any sense at all.

Although we are not expecting any drill results for a while I would bet that if we have been already drilling for 2 weeks then Brad has been fully informed as to what they have unearthed so far? You can look at the placing 2 ways in my opinion, either Brad has a good Idea of what’s there and he is so confident that he thinks the placing is no big issue or the drill results are nothing special and he’s raising extra capital to stay afloat for a while battening down the hatches?

It will be interesting to see how the Toronto share price reacts in about 20 mins.

RKtech couldn’t agree more. The world governments are putting together packages to stabilise their economy mines but these are short term measures. The debt that has been created is staggering and makes the crash of 2008 look tiny. It will take years to recover from this recession and Gold will only grow and grow in price to news levels never seen before. The dust has not yet settled on this crisis and the true extent of the economy is yet to be established but even our own chancellor is still throwing money around but reality will soon hit home for sure.

Looking at other mining stocks they are well up. Gold is up and we can’t recover on a rising market and that is a worry. I really don’t understand these markets.

Dr i think the problem is they promised a drill update which has not materialised in the timeframe and the market is treating this with the contempt it deserves. Even a tweet telling us what the delay is would suffice but to go silent is having the exact effect on the SP it deserves.

Toronto down 15% ridiculous

Im convinced that one of the reasons that we have a large drop today is that the promised RNS drilling update has not materialised and there has been no explanation why and is now overdue. Does anyone have a good idea when it will finally be published?

We all know this share will eventually take off no doubts there but it’s still a worry and an annoyance that we are desperately awaiting an RNS to prevent a further downward spiral. Considering our position which is quite a healthy one, you would not think we would have suffered these almost daily falls for such a long period. You can only blame the American election and the MMS for so much of it and its baffling why we can’t even remain stable especially given the buy to sell ratios we are seeing.

Pduk nice to see you being consistent in attacking posters as usual. No wonder this board is a cesspit of doom and gloom.

Expru2000 I can’t say with any certainty who would buy us out for sure but surely Newmont would be favourite given their resources.

MIddleEastmoney. I agree with your estimate as when you consider our present low mcap and our asset being hopefully at least as good as that of GGP then there is no reason if all works out well why our mcap could not match theirs one day. I’m sure the figures you quote can easily be achieved but may take a little longer but would welcome the timescales you state. The only obstacle for me is that the company will never reach the same mcap as GGP and not because we are somehow inferior but due to a buyout of the asset. Surely if this does turnout to be a really first class find then we will be more likely to be bought out and become a victim of our own success?

bhargav I hope you are correct. I am relatively new to this share and am respect of any opinion offered by a long term shareholder. As previously stated I think we will fly after January but if we can increase our value beforehand then all the better.

Wayne you’ve got me all wrong I’m afraid no deramping here just some realism. I have made my investment here and am sitting on a good few shares and have no more to invest so deramping is if no benefit to me. Nearly all my posts today have stated that I do believe this share will fly after the assay results come in. I was merely making the point that the share price in my opinion was not capable of achieving the 50p mark before the assay results in January. Many here believe that we are somehow due done bews that will push the SP up but I do not see what news that could possibly come out that we and the market does not already know is imminent. It is my opinion that it is therefore unlikely that the SP will be galloping towards the 50p range that some posters were predicting. I hope this clears up my position.

Phoebus you slightly miss the point. Although as you point out there is only a month difference between Dec and Jan the significance is that some were predicting the shareprice was strong enough to get to 50p prior to the assay results. Despite a positive RNS detailing payments and drilling it looks as though this is not enough to propel the SP to these levels prior to the assay results which is a shock to myself as well as others alike. The SP will be propelled in my opinion afterward the Jan assay results and will build from there for sure.
