Ps stop playing semantics and trying to score points ,Graham did promise that a final investment decision before the end of the year he said they “would” and not hope or try so that was a promise in my book.
Your other ramblings stating it’s not about the end of year or later is wrong as it’s all hinging on the board making a final investment decision which will mean if they do then all the ducks have aligned and first gas is on the way (all be it some 18 months)
My posting was suggesting that given the progress made thus far due to Covid and the amount of work left to do including the tax issue then I was doubtful if this could be achieved by the year end and that maybe the board needed longer to evaluate given the situation. And yes you still are being miserable.

Considering we were promised a final decision by the end of the year, is this really feasible? Graham has stated that due to Covid they had not made the progress that they had hoped for and surely these difficulties are still going to persist for the remainder of the year at least.
Given the tax issue is ongoing and having to line up his 3 ducks in a row with just over 10 weeks to finalise things then do you think that this is being a little optimistic or do you think the FID will be delayed beyond the end of the year?

Your constant baiting about my averaging down has been answered as I informed this board of my dealings in August and I detect some jealously that I now have an average that is more than recoverable.
In answer to your point I can’t have empathy for long term holders because I call some of them sad and miserable then my comments are only aimed at the sad and miserable ones who spread their misery for the sake of it. Proof of this is telling us Sound are finished and telling us we will be sub 1p on the shareprice. The majority of long term holders are not in this category and my empathy is with them.

Ps pretty much spot on. How on earth can the 3 ducks align when you have a huge unresolved tax bill? Surely as you pointed out it will affect their credit worthiness especially as the demand is so large. I personally felt that he wasted much of the interview time talking about Covid and even this was to blame the lack of progress. I was also disappointed that they have pushed out the dateline for first gas to 18 months which was the point for me when the SP was going to recover properly. I still think that the present board will get through it somehow but I haven’t ruled out them bringing in another partner to help finance it which will obviously lead to some dilution until we start generating income. The big question for me is that if Sound don’t commit to the FID this year then where does very this leave them in relation to Tendrara?

I must remind you that you told us that Sound were finished after your knee jerk reaction to the tax bill which has turned out to be utter rubbish and guess what we are still trading. I would also like to point out that you doomsayers were also predicting the share price to go sub 1p which again has not happened and a few of us told you it wouldn’t happen at the time.
So I’m still waiting for you to provide that date when you stated that Sound are finished or I would even settle for a date when our SP is sub 1p again?

Prime doomsayer yea I invented averaging down over 2 months ago so I could use it in an argument today. Anyway I’m not justifying myself any further so you'll have to bait some other poor sole. My averaging down is irrelevant compared to our present predicament but be assured that we will all soon know our fate because we were promised news on the FID before the years end, let’s hope it turns out well for all investors.

Ps I’m not that worried about a little dilution. I fully expect it through partnerships etc but I also realise that’s the pie is big enough to return reasonable shareholder value still. I’m a pretty good judge of character and will agree that Parsons does not come across as someone I would trust but it is my belief that Graham is a different animal and someone we can believe in and so much so I did top up below 2p admittedly.

Prime doomsayer uk. Wrong again as my average is half that amount so if Sound did sell tendrara then I’m sure I’ll still be ok. Even if Sound got rid of half of it then I’m still confident the SP would get above 3p so happy days for me but as stated earlier I would like Sound to see it through to first gas and return some greater value to long term holders. You never know, perhaps some of the miserable gits on here might even cheer up somewhat eh?

Utility there you go again basing an attack by cherry picking someone’s post. I only mentioned a tendrara sale as an option as well as partial buyout or even the possibility of some partnership but of course you cherry picked the doomsday scenario of trying to sell with no buyer based on last years attempt. Time has moved on since then. Sound has had the pipeline permissions granted and has signed a HOT so is in a slightly different position than when trying to sell last year. As I pointed out, whichever scenario they go for then I will break even for sure so no worries. I would however for the sake of long term holders wish to get to first gas without selling up.

Get real utility. Ps savages just about every poster on here in a bid to prove he is somehow the superior being. And no I don’t need 6p to make a profit only half that so spouting off without a clue again as usual. Even if Sound sells tendrara or is bought out fully or even partially then there is enough scope for share price value to get me back in profit so I’m not worried for me in the slightest but I do worry for some of the longer termers who need more value to break even and I genuinely want the SP to go up enough so they can at least get something worthwhile out of it.

Ericnat that is a real possibility. The Q&A did not offer the confidence we expected and although they promised a final investment decision it seemed they required a few things coming together which still may happen but also may not. The decision may involve a bigger player taking over who would have the resources to easily and more quickly being able to get to first gas. Sound would still have a role in negotiating the gas sales agreement and may even retain a percentage of the asset. Either way as you say the SP would increase but a more realistic value would be nearer 6 p IMO.

Ps you are very quick to attack almost every poster on her. Sniping away because of your own miserable situation. I can see it’s last chance saloon for you so you have little choice but to accept the situation to the end with little choice being powerless to do anything but spout bitterness at every turn. I can appreciate that the Q&A did little to offer any real hope but be assured that the situation will soon become more black and white in the next month or two and will either sink you further into that dark despair or offer you that glimmer of hope which most of us still believe in that will turn things around.

If he market cap did say reach the heights of 1.60 then how would that be reflected in the OMI SP. Forgive my ignorance but is there a general rule of thumb to be applied here?

Ps yes you took a not very well written article and cherrypicked one sentence to support your miserable outlook.
I do agree however that the Q&A was disappointing. That’s all I can say is that if the final investment decision goes ahead then we can be assured that we are funded to first gas regardless of the timeframe of 12-18 months. We will not have to wait very long to find out as Graham promised the FID before the end of the year.
