Pduk you underestimate our worth. The approval plans and permits in place for the pipeline also have a value as well and we already know half the tendrara was recently valued at over 100 million dollars so we are asset rich well beyond any current dept. You or I are not privy to the deals that are being negotiated. Depending on what can be agreed in the next months will determine what will be used to base the final investment decision on. Now this might entail full funding to first gas or a partial asset sale or partnership and we can only speculate but whatever happens I’m confident that some shareholder value will return way beyond where we currently sit.

ddboy the tendrara asset is worth multi millions and the first year of production is predicted to be 58 million on its own with long term take or pay contracts ready to go. The board obviously have options based on what deals or partnerships they can agree so even if it it did not go as planned then the asset alone would return a fair amount back to shareholders but hopefully we will get to production and develop successfully from there onwards.

Up today at last. Does it mean we are home and dry of course not but doomsayers must remember when it drops by a similar amount then it’s not in free fall or the demise of the company either. It makes no difference right now if the SP is 1p or3p as it is pretty meaningless at present. It seems as if there is a huge negative overreaction as soon as a drop is detected. We are in a dormant period of no news which some posters seem to struggle with myself included but deep down we all know there was going to be this period of little activity but it doesn’t mean that Graham and the board are not working long hours to give the company the best chance of success I have a feeling there may be no news imminent on the horizon but a period of patience is required for sure.

It’s as if the doomsayers are wishing for the share to crumble completely to somehow satisfy a need to compound their own misery.

Pduk the loan and possible tax bill are a lot of money granted but our income in the first year of production would make a huge dept or pay it all off in its entirety depending on the final sunscreen involved. Moving past this we have big gas reserves that will sustain the income for years to come so there is no issue with our ability to pay. I do not know what decisions the company will make in the next few months in relation to this but it will be based on what deals or partnerships they manage to negotiate. So let us give Graham and the board some room to progress the plan and properly judge our situation when we know some concrete facts opposed to just spouting doomsday scenarios based on nothing more than frustrations and a depressing time in our country’s history.

Pump no not sub 1p by Friday as some were predicting. Yes we have a loan to pay, yes we have a tax bill that may or may not be genuine or due or not due for the full amount. We also have the capacity to start producing income shortly which would be capable of wiping out this debt within the first 6 months of production. Over 50million dollars gross income in the first year was predicted so even according to my maths it’s enough to pay off all debt easily and even have enough left over to keep the lights on and pay for a slap up lunch for Malcy.

Keep yes nothing to defend at all. I’m also of the opinion that I will make a little something for sure. Instead of getting involved in all this paranoia, I prefer to sit back and wait to see some actual information on what Graham and the board have got to say in the next Q and A.

Ericnat I think the upcoming q and a will be crutual. I think the deadline for questions is the 25th so it will be interesting to see if the board choose to tackle the tax issue head on or avoid it but we will soon find out for sure. Does anyone know the actual date the q and a takes place?

If Shlumberger own 27.5% and ONHYM own 25% and Sound were looking to off load 51% of their holding last year for 113 million dollars then does this mean that Sounds current 47.5% holding is currently worth around 220 million dollars?

Ps yes I do think the shareprice is holding up especially given the tax demand, no news and a depressed market. . I don’t agree with your statement it will be sub 1p by the weekend and it may even be up at the end of the day!

Watergate even if the shareprice was 4p then it wouldn’t make any difference to where we are right now. What’s important is where we are at the end of the year and moving into next year.

PS, hardly realisable assets ? Lots of gas in the ground and permission and all permits in place for a pipeline so that’s got to be a fair worth.

Ps if it was in the doodoo before the tax bill then the outlook was not reflecting this when it was recently 4p. Like I said, if the tax bill is sorted then we are simply on the same journey to first gas.

Ps yes it did take a hammering and this is indeed depressing but it’s not because it was a dog of a share. The whole market was down yesterday but many in this sector were particularly hit badly (chariot and others for example were down even more than us) so this would clearly point to market movement due to the second covid wave I suspect. With no news on the horizon and an ailing economy then there is certainly not going to be any feel good factor but I point out again that if the tax issue is sorted then little has really changed with the plan so patience is clearly needed even though it’s not easy at present.

Indeep you may have a different outlook if the tax issue is sorted. Down today but similar to a lot of shares in this sector.
