The company has skilled staff which might walk, but equally might not. Also it already has blue chip clients. RT will have a number of ideas how to compliment their business and i would think these guys will have lots of ideas to help his improve upon other opportunities he has lined up. I also could see RT having a go at acquiring some of QPP telematics related businesses. Low mcap and small amount of shares with the right people and connections already in the technology sector. Makes perfect sense. This is not just some random pick, as his involvement in Daniel Stewart is also part of a bigger plan imo.

Given the low mcap, and the small number of shares in circulation I can see a takeover in the not too distant future. RT will have all sorts of plans, centred around technology opportunities and may even make an offer for QPP telematics as that was his baby. It looks like there are a lot of talented people already in place there who I think will provide invaluable advice and experiance in moving this in new directions. Very good opportunity imo.

Spot on. Think what you want to build and pick companies that have what you need. In Peels case it was companies which owned land. For a technology company it companies with talent, existing contracts with blue chip companies and disruptive ideas. See they have already used Daniel Stewart services, another part of the jigsaw.

RNS out yesterday told us that RT has taken his stake building here over 9% and by all accounts is still buying. We know RT is very good at building technology companies from small acorns, so this could be transformational times here. A short term target price of 20p has been noted. Peel a company invested in development bought the Manchester Ship Canal company because of all the land it owned. If you wanted innovation and technology at the heart of your new company then you would look for such a company with talented people already in place.....

RT has shown that he enjoys and knows how to build technology companies. He has vision and idea's and he will have plenty having sat on the sidelines for awhile. If we can capture these ideas whilst controlling his aggressive entrepreneurialism then we know what he is capable of and to get into one of his ventures early on could prove both interesting and rewarding, but not without some twists and turns !

RT was doing a good job of building a technology and also a law company at qpp but looking back i think qpp got a little confused as to its true identify - legals or technology, and RT was growing both aggressively which led to cashflow becoming unstuck, which in turn led to other issues. What is not in doubt in my mind is that RT has great ambition and vision and knows how to build a very significant company from scratch. I think he is looking to build a big stake here with a view to putting an offer in for the best remaining parts of QPP. He knows which are the best bits and he will have the vision of how to grow them and without the cash hungry legal side will be ok managing cashflows if he gets himself a good FD. Just my thoughts but he grew QPP to over a £2 billion pound company and S&G got a good deal on the legals. Given this currently has a mcap of inly £6 million his interst and growing share, now over 9%, could lead to this being a very interesting investment imo.

RT still buying I see. Can see this becoming his new vehicle in achieving his technology ambitions he set in motion at QPP. He certainly knows how to build a significant company and hopefully this time avoid going too fast. This could see a big rerate if his plans are put into action.

Thats how many shares Woodfords fund bought back in Nov for around 22p looking at the chart. Then in Jan the company raised £20 million with new and existing IIs at 19p in order to fund development of new products and to help accelerate sales in US.

Good news on products, US developments and also now progress in the UK is becoming more regular now. Invesco hold 27.82% of the shares and Woodford Investments hold 14.48%. Overall 88.93% of the shares are held by significant investors as per the link above. What % held by other investors on top of that ? I guess there are actually very few shares in free float. One of Woodfords other favourites OXP has doubled in price recently. Watch this space !

Agreed, they have requested a waiver to having to make an offer for all shares. The cash is simply intended as a temp facility whilst the contracts and revenues come in. Just to re-establish stability, then continue the day job of growing the business.

Guessing the 3 million trade was a buy as from around the time the bounce started. Off the fallers, soon on the risers board ?

See the sp has woken up, about time, but thoroughly deserved. We all know there are big gains to be had here from these levels. Given the tips of 24p plus and further contract wins with more due this is one of my favourites now!!
