The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
At long bloody last, buys have started to outweigh sells this week. And upwards we go, albeit ever so cautiously. Hopefully the newly appointed Chief Growth Officer Vivan Pinto's finally secured some entries to new markets for us - fingers crossed
You read way too much into that one line Sang.
crl123 - I think you know who that whale of a seller might be. Probably his last lots this month.

5 years of time investment to know everything there is to know about a biotech - tick

Crystallising a big loss isn't easy for anyone Sang. Best to take some time to recover and get over the mental damage that sort of thing does to you.
There's seriously no need for you to stay glued to the screen. Seriously
Folks, I'm still fighting that uphill battle of getting more IIs investing in the secondary market. Received this from BlackRock, and now I'm trying to get them to tell me (as a potential investor) if they have any LBPS exposure among those 190 holdings in the ETF or not:

Well, we already know the answer, and you might see this exercise as a total waste of time but I'm determined to go through as many names as it takes to get fresh insti capital on board. You're all welcome to join, and I have a feeling shareholder activism executed in such a manner might be the very thing needed at this juncture, however long shot that is.
Let's allow ourselves to think outside the box.
Folks, regarding that massive LBPS shorting on the 23rd of March which I've been banging on about, I haven't heard back any of the authorities yet but here's an interesting find:
"brokerage firms report short interest data to FINRA on a per-security basis for all customer and proprietary firm accounts twice a month, around the middle of the month and again at the end of each month"
taken from:

So it's very possible (imho anyway) that they're trying real hard not to show their colour. Market knows who these "liquidity providers" are though. I do hope they get burnt with this trade!
I see those prints. It's a beaut
He's not done large single transactions like that until now though. Hope you're right though, and he's out for good. Works for me
Merck's flush with cash but transactions on the open market not quite their modus operandi.
@ RustinCohl - Large chunks like that cannot be sold without discount. Doesn't work like that. As we haven't seen the Bid floating in the 42-43 band it naturally follows that these were buys. 100% !!
Defo a but that 1mil, and I dare wager institutional. So that'd 3m+ buys in the last 2 days for that fund alone. All at or close to 41p. Yet the ask won't budge. Go figure
@Muck - Fear, uncertainty, and doubt
I fired off a few emails (including one to SEC) for these to be looked into but so far haven't heard back.

How about those volumes opened on 23/3 straight into dark pool HarChris? I want them to buy back the entire lot so we can move back up.
Broker's short 750k shares on those 12.17am trades, and waiting for the ask to drop to 41 to fill. The question is can they find the size any more in this pre-ISA, almost-post-SO period ...
and especially on p. 158:
"Interest is payable on the loan at 8.15% plus the higher of a) 0.1% and b) the US dollar 30-day LIBOR rate, accordingly a 0.1% increase in the rate of interest (based on the shorter period noted) would result in an increase of $39 thousand over the remaining term of the loan ending in July 2026."
