Phil, I'd say sooner would make the most business sense as the deal would pay itself off very quickly just by boosting Keytruda sales and maintaining market dominance against any biosimilars. They'll basically do whatever it takes to postpone that patent cliff. Would be interesting to hear how the medical heavyweights on here view the patent extension issue play out.

@ Porky - Dude, you totally misread me. My intention is the OPPOSITE of "attempting to scare a few retail into selling". I want the SP to go up to multifold to a realistic mcap, and was exchanging a few ideas with fellow LTHs here.

And regarding any big shorts, as long as they're divided among in-house LLCs and LLPs, and kept under 0.5% each there wouldn't be an obligation to publish. I'm currently looking into ways as to how best to ask the SEC to look into this stateside LBPS shorting that specifically happened on 23/3.

@PG - Them being aware of 4D hasn't resulted in committed capital so far and it's very hard not to feel utterly frustrated about it. Yes, I know about their standard inflow of data and idea generation procedures but I honestly think it wouldn't hurt to try to email them as a retail investor (though maybe sugar-coated as an investment club). All we need is a few bitess. Beats beating the same drum day in day out about how potent our pipeline is tbh.

@PG - I never claimed he knew their "shorting strategy". When you see VaR going up against a ticker it's hard to miss so no seniority required I suppose. And also, I'm not in the habit of making up stuff to hijack the board. That'd be a waste of time for everyone.

Doesn't change the fact that they (among others) have disdain for this stock due to that rationale that 4d shorters occasionally mention here. Exact polar opposite of us. We've been due a significant re-rate for many months, and we all know what's been holding us back.

I'm basically suggesting we do what the board failed to thus far, and become the marketing arm of this baby. Not in a twitter/reddit ramper fashion aimed at PIs mind you but precisely targeted towards IIs. Wherever they may be. As long as they're willing to invest in 4d/LBPS it won't matter. I personally will start today as I'm all in and don't have the luxury of topping up any more. I've been all in for about a year now and this consistent selling/shorting DESPITE the outstanding news we've had has absolutely sickened me to the stomach. Tally ho!

I have a suggestion. Why don't as many of us here approach funds like BlackRock Smaller Companies Trust and Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust with well worded emails like we're in the dd process of boiling down potential targets for our respective investment clubs. Could they advise us if they have any UK Biotech exposure, esp 4d in their funds. Granted, we're likely going to get a response saying they haven't but it might result in 4d being added to their watchlist for potential investment.

We know that a few are invested and I, like most of us here, would like to see many many more names than these below:

They opened most of it on the 23rd of March, and he's on the IT side, monitoring the algos. Not a decision-maker. Morally not happy about this particular short but maybe he had to put it that way to me. Fine lines and all that.

Proof that he's still selling. Also, shorters are trying really hard to mark 53p as an absolute ceiling due to board options atm. I don't mind telling you all that from a recent conversation with a mate of mine from Citadel -who are short millions in LBPS- they definitely do not intend to close until they're forced to. That to me means t/o bid as all else, including bavencio and/or any other lucrative deals we may get, will be treated as short term spikes followed by long sags in graph. We definitely need to attract smart money; i.e. II with impatient capital, to buy in and drive up this SP within a quarter or two.

You know what trumps technical analysis in our present situation, Iceman? That 12.5 million share bid by Winterflood Securities (WINS) which stayed there most of the day Friday. So barring the madman pressing those red buttons we should comfortably steer clear of that sub-50 bearish territory.

@ Bennster (09.03.2022) Free Float's 70%+ still. I know, I wasn't expecting to see that either. Hence the SP recovery seems to be driven by AFN, bridges, Russia being forced out of fiat and into blockchain, etc as opposed to mms struggling with scarcity of shares.

One more piece of spectacular news next week and we'll hit the moon due to MAJOR forced short covering states-side. All those millions shorted on Wed ... what greed, what arrogance, and how utterly stupid (especially with their interpretation of the 518 data)
