If you’re invested in SML sounds like you should sell If that’s what you think , otherwise not sure why you are commenting on this ?

The key to driving the share price to a significant re rate is to move Redmoor from an inferred to an indicated resource . The market puts little value on it as it stands but if we have a clear plan to do this the value of Redmoor will dwarf Cobre IMO and the market and investors will take note .

What’s not to like .

Strong sales , cash positive despite costs of removing the old BOD which will greatly reduce costs going forward .

Increased effort and focus on moving Redmoor .

Focus on delivering shareholder value .

Patience will be greatly rewarded IMO

Folks taking profit after last weeks rise which is understandable . I’d expect a positive update next week which should tick this up to another level . At last after years of disappointment looks like this will turn out to be a very good investment IMO

With revenue from Cobre alone SP should be around 0.5 . If we can make progress on Redmoor which the market currently values at zero this will head towards 1p IMHO

Don’t mind a placing if it’s at a reasonable price and clearly linked to moving Redmoor forward .

Good news , company can now move forward without some of the baggage that investors associated with the old BOD .

Very positive . Cleared up the debts and cash now building . Cash should continue to improve through this year and confident that progress will at last start on Redmoor . If LCCM can be sold will be another boost to the cash position .

The SP will have a significant re rate on any positive LCCM news IMO . Hoping something this side of Xmas .

Think you’re missing the point , the RNS is confirming 2 things . Extension of access to Cobre til 2029 which maintains this business for 4-5 more years . Previous I think was due to finish 2027 , and confirmation that our major client will continue to take the tailings for 2025 as the previous PO was for 2024 which keeps the cash flowing . We know profit margins are 60%+ so don’t think there is anything misleading just good news .

Really good news , with the new BOD in place should allow progress on our other assets and the SP . News on the new CEO and LCCM would be a great Christmas present .

Totally agree , we can all have our opinion but the new team needs to make the calls with the info they will have to hand . So far looks like making the right moves . Looking forward to Q3 sales update and latest on LCCM - zero value on the books so anything we can get will shift the SP significantly .

Let’s hope those disgruntled shareholders who sold out due to past issues now return .

Fantastic news , lack of credibility been holding back the SP so JP leaving takes a lot of the past issues with him . Mark Burnett is a finance guy focussed on Mining so should have all the right contacts to help move things forward and Charles Manners seems to be steering things in the right way . Next CEO should be a hands on mining guy based in the UK . Now just need to see a sale or JV for LCCM and next steps for Redmoor . IMO this unlocks a bright future for SML .

Agree but need to remove JP first . His lack of credibility will continue to hold back the SP .

Spread shown on here is not accurate , buy is 0.24 , sell is 0.2 .

I’m one of the biggest shareholders in SML , been here for 8 years and been through all the disappointments and false dawns . However in my opinion and I follow things very closely things are changing with the revised board . For the company to reach fair value a few things need to happen and my view is they will . Further changes to the board , sale or JV of LCCM , clear plan for Redmoor to get to a position where it can be sold or JV . Understand many have lost faith and don’t believe this will happen but I have renewed faith the time for a large re rate is close .

Must admit initially missed the chairman’s statement at the bottom of the RNS . Really positive and bodes well for the future .

Agree and in addition Mark Burnett specialises in mining so hopefully chances of getting financing greatly improved.
