But in last RNS did company not say that it is looking at various options to raise 2.5 billions through rights issue and equity.But why was it holding meeting with foreign wealth management funds before, my understanding is that these talks have been going on for sometime, there is no way somebody is going give away 2.5 billions without go through books and doing due diligence, these sort of talks take months . Management is trying to put a bottom under share price by issuing these baseless RNS, the moment they confirm rights issue, share price would plummet.

A rights issue is imminent as dont think company would get right price for its assets, a few has mentioned Arab money , read sky story that 250 million stake that Kuwaities are taking has to be in the form of rights issue.Rights issue would be easier option for company.

This decline, shareholders could be heavily diluted if company goes ahead with rights issue and it is a certainty now. We will have to wait for the price and my guess is around 100 plus or minus 10.

Company is short of money as second wave has delayed any recovery of international travel and that does not bode well for this company.Right now wait and see.Company left it too late may be it was hoping to see a growth in international travel to benefit from.

We have to wait until 1 October as company would inform us about right issue, my prediction is rights issue about 100 plus or minus 10.Looks like they have got pretty much every thing lined up and everyone knows what is score apart from private investors, those of us who knew the score have decided to wait until refinancing is sorted, some got in before all this fiasco but a few traders got in to make a quick 5 or 10% and are sitting on 10/20/30% losses.

Well if company defaults , creditors would take over and management would get to keep its jobs but shareholders would get nothing.Not so long ago investors lost few billions in Nmc which was a fraud and nobody gave a sh i t . It looks like company is trying to hide something, moment they release the RNS stating we are raising 2.5 billions via rights issue, share price would plummet and adjust itself accordingly. I remember when Iag announced rights issue share price was steady at 200 and that was surprising.But it did fall to 90p once people realised what was coming.

Look at these two statements one was issued by Iag and second one by Rolls Royce, does it not sound familiar?

Wow so these media outlets are spreading these rumors to acieve what? Any credible News source would investigate these news stories and would confirm them with their sources, otherwise they would have their backsides handed back to them and get sued.Reuters reported same thing about International consolidated airlines and that turned out to be true.

Company is not denying or confirming it, funny thing is all of these media outlets are reporting same thing.You must be wearing them rose tinted glasses.

May be next week media outlets should report exact location and time of meeting to get company to admit it.

They are deliberately trying to hide something or still have not decided it.Reuters reported in July that company has contacted banks to raise 2.5 billions via rights issue.Then last week or week before it was reported in media that company has held talks with sovereign investments funds to raise 2.5 billions and today sky news has reported.Company is not telling whole thing to market , apart from it is looking at various options.All three media sources have mentioned rights issue and one more thing these talks have been going over for three months as nobody would want to give you 250 millions in first meeting.

Share price was 205 and rights were offered at 84 in english money so represented more than 50% discoujt.

Rights issue is a reality and dont think they can secure a sale in a week time.But we will hear soon , next week is not too far.

Why not wait for rights issue price and buy when share price gets there.

My guess is around 100 level plus or minus 10%.But it has to be at discount to corrent share price otherwise nobody would want to buy these rights.But lets see!

You must be kidding,talk to me after 1st October once we have found out about rights issue price.Who would want to take up rights issue at 150 when price is around this level.It has to be at some discount to encourage maximum take up.

I was right, company was trying to shaft investors by holding meeting to raise money via rights issue and then tell them that it has not decided anything.These sort of meetings must he taking place over months before a final conclusion is made and it looks like that that is what has happened here.It explains why major funds were dumping their holdings.
