Love to see you on pog board, rbrand. Still going strong, posting your nonsense. I hope you lost a lot of dough here, you such a tool! All Putler's trolls get what they deserve, eventually.
Back in Sept 2019 when this was at 34p I posted my opinion here that the company is massively overvalued and is being manipulated. I said that if it were to go to 40p I would consider shorting. I should have followed my own advice! SP peaked at just above 40p in Feb 2020 and again in Aug 2020 and have been sliding since. Revisited my view in Jan 2021 at 29p and posted my conclusion here - "this company is a joke" - and was laughed at. Well, it's now 15p. I still think it's a joke. Next stop 9p? I might consider buying at that level ;)
rbrand, as I said before, I think you are just a Puttin troll. You post your pro-putin rubbish here and on pog, poly forums. I don’t think you own any shares, but if I’m wrong and you are indeed a real investor with shares in all these russian companies you are posting, then I AM SOOOO HAPPY NOW because you must be loosing two thirds of your investment portfolio by now. And I will cheer you on all the way to total loss of all your rubles ))))
A good analytical piece; worth reading, especially if you think the risk of a russian invasion is zero:
https://warontherocks.com/2022/01/putins-wager-in-russias-standoff-with-the-west/
4thtiger, the motives for my posts were clear indeed but had nothing to do with looking for a price to get in. It was to expose two liars whose sole purpose, if you read their posts on this thread carefully, was to consistently peddle the russian propaganda under a disguise of offering an opinion on fxpo shares. I am not looking to get in at all, which is why I offered no opinion and made no ramping or de-ramping comments whatsoever - read my posts.
Now comes the opinion: I completely disagree with you that there is zero chance for a russian invasion, and for as long as it remains, this share is uninvestable for me. I have no plans to enter, whatever the price, until this risk goes away or at least recedes significantly (and that means troops dispersed and aggressive anti-Ukrainian narrative stops). No emotion involved here, just discipline, and that means making decisions based on my analysis of the situation and understanding of the balance of risks involved, as I see it, and not being swayed by opinions expressed here, let alone somebody's saying "get in now before it's too late".
Good luck with your position though, if you hold any. I do hope very much that your belief of a zero chance for an invasion comes true. I'd be quite happy to miss this opportunity as long as russians keep away and don't start a war.
rbrand, you are obviously a russki, and either a troll or a vatnik. An intelligent person would not need to resort to calling someone a fool or a freak. You clearly can offer no arguments to a debate, hence the insults. Quite likely you know how far from truth your posts are, and as I said already I believe you and your friend Mineckeck are Kremlin trolls, patting each other on the back, recommending each other's posts. If I'm wrong about that, then I can only conclude you are a vatnik, brainwashed by the russki propaganda. And only another vatnik (or troll) would call you "one of the few knowledgeable people commenting here". Nobody else buys your BS.
And I don't have to tell you why I'm here. After all, it's none of your business, nor does it matter. But since you are so keen to know, I've been investing in FXPO for some time, made close to £200k of profits over time from trading FXPO shares. I exited completely before the previous threat of invasion last summer (as iron ore reversed trend, too) and have been watching it slide since. I was looking to get back when iron ore bottomed out, but given the developing war threat situation I decided to stay out, for now. Happy now?
I don't propose to engage in a further debate with you. It would only serve your purpose. Intelligent people would know how to sort out truth from your bull. It is very unfortunate that immoral people like you exist, but such is life.
LOL. Thank you rbrand, I never laughed so hard in my life. Putin must be a saint in your eyes. Like the Pope, doesn't own any assets. You obviously missed the video about his $1bn palace (https://youtu.be/ipAnwilMncI) watched by 122 million people! Or the last week's update (https://youtu.be/OjYl1xvssJY). Not bad for a civil servant working so hard all his life on his meagre salary for the greater good of the Russian people. Please don't embarrass yourself
Minecheck, unlike your idol and boss Mr Putin, I don’t silence anyone. I just exposed you for who you are, a Kremlin troll. Why are you so angry? Won’t get paid now that you’ve been outed? Don’t worry, you’ll find another place to continue your dirty work
rbrand and Minecheck, why don't you go and peddle your russki propaganda someplace else. How much are you getting paid for trolling on this site? I've reported your posts for inciting hatred and posting defamatory and false information.
Let's get the facts straight first. Putin is a dictator and a bully, not a hard-working leader. He is a criminal both in his own country and internationally. Russia broke international laws (it was a signatory to) by annexing Crimea (and no, it was not "historically russian" - if anything, it was Ottoman long before it became "russian", but that's beside the point) and occupying parts of Ukraine, not to mention also occupying Moldova and Georgia, too. Russia is a terrorist state now, lead by a thug, terrorising the world under false pretences and psychopathic ambitions. Those are the facts.
So let's not pretend you two are here to discuss FXPO. Your every post is designed with a sole purpose of peddling false narrative of the pro-Russian propagandist media. I bet you never owned a share of FXPO. So you can take you false narrative and get out of this board. Bye
Minecheck, that's the second time you are posting you pro-Russian propaganda. This site is for investors - we are not interested in your political views. If you just want to say that geo-political risks are high in that region, and that explains the latest share price action, that is fine. Just leave it at that, nobody is interested nor supportive of your views, whether they are genuine or sponsored by Russia Today. I have reported your post.
Lucky, thanks for posting FXPO IR reply to your email. I take their point about not commenting about a shareholder's personal problems with the law, but I wonder however if they care to provide any comment when these problems have direct effect on Ferrexpo. For examply, I just came across this article:
https://finclub.net/ua/news/zelenskyi-zaprovadyv-sanktsii-proty-kompanii-zhevaho.html
Here is a Google translation of an extract:
"President Volodymyr Zelenskyi put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against the Bilanivka GOK, which is part of the Ferrexpo group of Konstantin Zhevago...
Sanctions provide for the indefinite revocation or suspension of licenses and other permits, the receipt (availability) of which is a condition for certain activities, in particular, the revocation or suspension of special permits for subsoil use in Galeshchyna deposit (Kremenchug) iron ore (Poltava region).
Bilanivsky Mining and Processing Plant (Horishni Plavni, Poltava Region) was established in December 2009 for the purpose of industrial development of Bilanivsky and Galeshchynsky deposits of ferrous quartzites.
Bilanivsky GOK is part of the Ferrexpo group, as well as Poltava GOK and Yeristovsky GOK (Poltava region)."
What's there to stop the Ukrainian president from putting similar sanctions on the rest of FXPO business? Is this the reason the share price is taking a hit?
Tran6363, yes that's a done deal. I don't do recommendations but personally I am not planning to remain a shareholder in a private company, at least not in one controlled by these guys. I suppose people need to contact their brokers but there will surely be a way of accepting the offer as it remains open now until further notice. Or one can try and sell in the market. GLA
Well done everyone who held since October. A profit is a profit. Time to move on now. Would be interesting to see how they do as a private company. GLA
sorry for the typos, fat fingers )
I would suggest people to wait for the announcement and not call any strange numbers which could be premium charge, scammers playing on people’s fears. There are rules budders must follow, so wait as you will have 14 days to react if 75% target is reached
These are all automated trades by big banks and funds, all done by computers. That’s exactly what they do - earn a few pence with massive volumes translates to sizeable profits
Same here. Love FXPO for exposure to iron ore via a well run high quality operations that are massively undervalued by the market despite huge dividend yield (Swiss tax notwithstanding). Held for a few years and added or reduced position at various times to amplify gains, and did very well at the end, but now fully out. Risks are too high, I’m sure there will be a better re-entry point once Putin f***s off back into his bunker, or better still kicks the bucket which I wish him wholeheartedly. GLA
