A little disappointed that the directors decided to cash in on this news and sell some of their shares, but agree with other members here that they have identified the issues and how to resolve it.

Agreed, I have invested for the future, but will top slice and derisk if the situation calls for it. So the day to day movement of the share price is not an immediate concern; wanting news every other day is also not my style. Happy to sit back and let the team concentrate on multiple fronts of work.

Recently brought in, doing some DD wanted to add, probably known already; posted really to be corrected by better-informed members;

ECR has been granted two licenses EL5433 and EL006184

ECR have 8 licenses for application with ERR, they are
Bailieston: EL006911, EL006912 and EL007296
Tambo: EL007484 and EL007486 (Sept 2020)
Creswick:s EL006713 and EL006907
Surrounds MIN5396 and MIN4847: EL007537

From the above RNS “EL007537 is a competitive bid with three other applicants”.
Looking at the PDF not sure what has happened to EL006713 was submitted in 2018 and still hasn't been accepted for review by ERR

Does anyone know when the other applications were submitted?

To be honest my initial holding was small about 75k shares but now have 27k. I guess I have my doubts too that's why I banked some profit.

I must be naive and stupid ( some would testify this to be true) but the low amc price over the years!!! has allowed me to accumulate a largish holding of amc. Which one day might make me some good money!!

Hello tdt, I think eua released the RNS at 5pm Friday to allow speculation to build over the weekend and increase the share price, which may put them in a better position in negotiations; may encourage a larger sale price in the end? I would have thought that if there was bad news in the pipeline it would be better to release that first, then after payday release the JV RNS and try to recover some loses. There is that argument that they needed to release the info due to being price sensitive, but companies have ways around that legal constraint.
Annoyingly I only hold a very small amount of eua just recently top sliced to recover initial investment. Foolish I am?!!!

I guess we will find out one way or the other. Good luck to investors who have kept their faith in eua.

1- I didn’t sell out but LRL (Leyshon Resources) held for I think 5 years, they made the decision for me!

2- EUA about 7+ years same as AMC brought around the same time (ish), only a small holding, still hold, Actually, I averaged up in some instances but still up and waiting for a sale if it ever comes. unfortunately, the punt was AMC or EUA, I got that wrong (actually that statement isn’t quite true, I had an opportunity to sell when it hit +40p but was greedy and held on too long)!! If it were the other way round, I would be rich, however now with kids/mortgages/debts, I will be working until I am 90 years old. Such as life!!

RY I still have faith in you and the team, and the success of AMC may help others less fortunate. To put things into perspective; your yearly salary would take some, multiple lifetimes to save.

But I think it is fair to say that HZM is further down the mining life cycle then AMC through historical reasons such as availability of mining data and good management skills, but prior to the finances announced for HZM, AMC share price was actually outperforming HZM. In truth, both AMC and HZM were not doing so great in the past 4 years, a reflection of what was happening within the commodities markets during that period.

I may get crucified for saying this but I would go as far as to say that RY and the BOD actually have done a respectable job of paying themselves a wage, keeping the lights on, exploring (all be it at the expense of shareholders), and still only issuing 1,380m shares to date (I know there are warranties to be included which may equate to another 50m or so).

The delay announced isn't great, however

- at least the threat of the license being taken away from AMC has been derisked for several months at least.
- It confirms that relations with the Russia authorities are good and that they do not wish to screw AMC over (they still might, then it begs the question why not now? a perfect excuse )
- The deadline has been extended then why not look at improving the economics.

Ary82 I hear what you are saying but, I do not know many CEO/Directors who under-promise and over-deliver? Maybe it is a reflection of my poor investment choices but at some point, all of them have been criticised for ambiguity/silence of information, underperforming and not meeting deadlines.

Also, the 'truth' is not always what the market needs to hear, the past ten years the economic outlay for AMC wasn't great, I don’t think shareholders want to hear statements such as;
“AMC are proud to present you a mine which at current Nickel prices is not viable” or “No one wants to give us any money”

We are heading towards the critical path for AMC and with the TEO, Mining Plan, Offtake, BFS……. we are closing in on the next stage of the project whatever that is.

Anyway sorry, rambling now

The way I see it is, they have already received the final reports (or final drafts) from Oreall before the deadline but were not satisfied with the results.

Why were they not satisfied:
1 - Either the numbers weren't as good as expected.
2 - Realisation that a combination of Open and Underground pits will improve the economics and can not be ignored. I guess this is evident in the RNS published.
3 - the quality of the reports was in question.
4 - the integrity of the reports in question (maybe a bit far fetched, but you never know )

I suspect it is a combination of all of the above

therefore the inclusion of an external consultant to validate the findings/improve the economics was brought in.
