Thanks xow98. It's interesting that MMCAP's additions fit almost exactly with the arbitrage : 367k x 0.2573 = 94.4k but their total holdings don't seem match up. Does this mean that they're running a SAND short over and above the arbitrage, or am I misunderstanding something? How does the total across all Arbs look now?

Great report, ludeck, many thanks. Just one question, relating to this : "The core message was that Sandstorm's offer HAD to be put to shareholders." I'm assuming this means MARL shareholders. Have you established whether or not Sandstorm shareholders will also be getting a vote?

n3m3sis187, yes I read that too, and ended up confused, as John Cornford seemed to know what he was talking about. Surely this is something that GP could clear up tonight - it's really more a "point of order" than a question.

Perhaps that's another question for tonight: Do Sandstorm shareholders get to vote? John Cornford seems to think so : "But other tweeters wonder why the parties want the deal structured as a merger (needing 75% shareholder agreement by each company) rather than as a straight take-over requiring only 50% of Mariana’s holders.
