Any communication with Investor Relations over the past months has just seen a stock response and the CEO has been utterly anonymous.

I expected a communication after the FTSE250 demotion....but absolutely nothing.

Surely the time has come to re-assure markets.....continued silence is doing nothing for the company.

Not sure I've ever seen, what is a profitable company, have such a low forward p/e.....yet it still keeps dropping.....this is totally beyond me now, I thought it was dirt cheap at £5.20.

Sadly it's been attracting 'value investors' ever since it dropped below £7.

Without a change at the top I don't see any value now; this is becoming a non confidence thing, SP shouldn't be anywhere near this level, but it is. CEO needs to be replaced.

Through £3.80, another 40p to erase the drop from Viceroy's bullsh*t report. Then Monday, who knows....£5, £6...... 😊

Recovered a nice chunk of yesterday's fall.

Bit of good news from the middle east, inflationary concerns recede, and we'll soon be back to a realistic (IMO) price, which has to be £24+ as a minimum....happy days!

I've invested my money based on my own research and knowledge, I'm hardly likely to change my mind based on one person's opinion or analysis which seems to be focused on one metric and very little else.

Let's see where the SP goes over the coming weeks or months to determine which view is correct....any further discussion on this is a waste of time.

When you make remarks like 'the underlying performance is so poor', then it's clear you have an agenda, as that is garbage.

My wife works and Bellway so I know the company imtimately and have invested in and out of the share for some time. At a price point of £18 this is cheap.

Your post is nothing more than a clumsy attempt to talk the SP down, anyone with any sense would see right through this.

You have to question the motives of anyone who takes the time to post on a messageboard when they claim not hold any position.....why bother?

Not sure what the buying opportunities will like tomorrow Couerdelion....if the rumours we're seeing now are credible then I'd expect this to sail past £19 early on and be back into the £20's within the week. Hopefully you get the price you want.

Apart from one brief blip in 2022 Bellway haven't been at this price in over a decade....are things really that bad?

Just have to be patient now.....though at this price I'm sorely tempted to go big and double down because this could be back in the 20's within days if Trump and Iran shake hands.

Must admit, never anticipated a fall of this magnitude....struggling to understand how those results lead to a near 20% fall.

It's been played like a fiddle today, with the shorts having a field day....be interesting to see what sort of short positions come to light tomorrow.

I've never seen this stock be hit so hard, someone will make some serious money out of this as the current price is absurd.

Another day of manipulation for the shorts; push SP up in the morning, sell it off in the late afternoon, profit's made...

Repeat again tomorrow.

The time to buy is when no else wants to, anyone can dive in when things look rosy.

My wife works at Bellway, with a large shareholding acquired over the years, so this is a share we have followed closely, and right now this is crazy value, hence the additional purchases. It is a very profitable, well run company in a world that is desperate for more housing. It's a one way bet from here.

I'm exactly the same, trying to interpret every new update/announcement/article as to ascertain what may happen.

Reality is, I have no idea and it's just a case of hoping rather than knowing.....but it's getting harder to escape the feeling that this isn't going to be settled anytime soon.

Personally I think this is becoming Rathi's hill to die on, he's come so far and is so obsessed with this that any reason has now gone out of the window and he doesn't care what damage he is doing.....the bloke is unhinged!!

It's certainly possible it could hit those levels, though IMO it's very unlikely. I think it's a gift at these levels, unless you believe that the middle east situation will deteriorate and still be an issue in 3-6 months time, if it isn't then clearly this soars back very quickly to a realistic SP.

I merely stated that a few years ago the SP dropped to a crazy £17.50, which I bought at and made hood profits.

I don't believe it will fall that far again.

£19 seems dirt cheap; Today's update was ok, considering the circumstances. If middle east situation is sorted out the this goes back to £24-£25 fairly quickly.

FYI I've added a further 750 shares just minutes ago.

Seemed illogical not to at this price, fall is way overdone.

Picked up 1k to start, will look to add at anything less than £22 now.

Made a lot of money on these a few years ago when SP was as low as £17.50, see a similar opportunity now.
