Truss went straight to the Parliament tearooms after PMQs today. This indicates she's desperate for the support of her own backbenchers. The Economist today says she's she's already history, a prime minister with "the shelf-life of lettuce."

She's toast. She's burnt toast. She's carbonised toast. She won't be around for much longer. Hopefully we'll then start to see a bit more confidence emerging in the markets.

I've given up hope, I'm afraid. Now 73% down and expecting it to go lower yet.

But Russia and Saudi Arabia are teaming up to cut production. It's not a given that a recession will see a fall in the price of crude.

I forgot to mention that I'm also 46% under on SMT and 49% on BBB. Obviously my brain couldn't handle too much distressing news in one go.

It's noteworthy that when Truss's decisions last Friday led to a collapse in the markets she was invisible for five days and whence did finally deign to grace us with her presence and explanations she was bumblingly incompetent and wholly unbelievable. Compare and contrast. The contrast bit shouldn't take you any time at all.

Yep. Almost everything I'm invested in has been doing exactly that - one step forward, ten steps back - for ages now. ABDN, BBB, SMT, OCDO, XPP, etc. Not long now before I'm completely wiped out. And I'm not joking.
