Look, the company is deep in negotiations about its future with at least one important investor. Let the activity be completed. What's happening in terms of daily trading is a sideshow. I will be resolved when it is appropriate to be resolved.

He is most likely negotiating with the proposed farminer or major investor he has spoken about several times and thus he cannot raise his head above the parapet. First he must convince his counterparts that and that 36-2 is a resounding success, and tha the Pardox merits their investmennt. Any hint of a successful end to his negotiaitions will cause the SP to skyrocket which,in turn, would jeopardise the price the investor is prepared to pay for its share.

The last RNS : The company HAS COMMENCED THE PROCESSof discussing potential well AND WIDER PARADOX PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES with US BASED INDUSTRY PARTNERS in an effort to accelerate additional appraisal and development of the Paradox Project."

So tht's where he is and that's why he is silent!!

Who post headlines such as " Coordinated selling by shorties " by repeating them.

There is no shorting of these shares.Just over 20 sell today which didn't total much more than 1M shares. That's not shorting in anybody's book. Let's stick to some semblance of reality.

I seems clear that Zephyr is in deep negotiations with a farminer or a purchaser but there may be another outcome other than a full buyout or other innvestment.

Zephyr could sell all of the company except Salt Wash and from the remains create a new company on the base of Salt Wash. Remember that Zephyr already has more than one offer to provide the finance for the Salt Wash drill ($6M ), but they have put all that on the long finger. It would be quite feasible to create a new company or to re base Salt Wash on Zephyr itself post sale of the Paradox assets. Voila.

The BOD has certainly been less than transparent over the past few years with the shareholders, so I am waiting to be surprised now.Since the last RNS CH has certainly gone missing and there is still no sign of the interview that Malchy said he was to have with him this week. Heigh Ho

Your post, Seekinvalue, has a good deal of merit but I think the figures you set out are definitely on the conservative side.

I think that the current BOD want to farmin to, or sell, the whole of the Paradox project, for that not just 36-2 as you appear to suggest, and they are unlikely to accept much below 4p per share. However the price paid will depend upon details of the latest tests., and we are not fully apppraised there. This is now reaching a crucial stage for thecompany and its investors and I expect to hear something decisive from CH in the next week.

Risky. I said that Zephyr had failed to attract even one institutional investor in the US, not that the wouldn't be able to attract "an investor". In fact I alluded to the farmin or institutional investor they are already negotiating with.

1. I believe I have already explained,( several times } why the Sp is where it is.

2. The proposing investor for Paradox main and Salt Wash is likely to be the same outfit. There is no hurry on Salt Wash anyway because the investment is guaranteed and the company has other problems for now.

3. Zephyr has been unable to attract even one institutional investor in the US in its history despite declaring its intention to do so three years ago, so it's not likely to be able to do so now.

4. I'm heavily invested here and I think it's about time CH came up with some plain truths rather than honeyed words which turn out to be equivocal at the least.

5. Bear in mind that he has agreed to do an interview this week, but given that Maichy will be the inter viewer it may not be very informative either.

It's back to the SP management. Zephyr clearly knows who the farmin partner or major investor will be and they also know the price they are prepared to pay, (it looks like circa 4p per share ). But the fact remains that the company is not in the driving seat. The investor holds most of the cards.

I guess that the partner willl buy a large share of the company and I also guess that it will be a company already in the oil industry which will inject its own personnel into the project.

One doesn't need to be an expert to imagine that the lateral will be drilled asap because the investor will need a degree of assurance that the Paradox plan posited by the BOD is deliverable.

And yes the Company needs to be more transparent with its retail investors.

I don't understand why he is being pilloried by a section of the posters here. Ther is a certain logic to what he is saying.One hopes he is wrong about the future of Zephyr but it ain't necessarily so! Stop being thought police. That way you just stifle decent debate.

Thank you Oilworker for your 13.10 post. Like poiu I rely upon you, (and, of course the redoubtable Adon for clarification of some of the technical aspects of the Zephyr campaign. But I do not discredit Seekinvalue. The points he makes appear to be technically valid and ,( if they are), the suggest a less than fully open stance by the BOD.

It has always surprised me that in his podcasts and interviews CH makes little or no allusion to the SP. Nor do his interviewers ,( Malchy for instance ), press him very closely on the matter. and as a large and long term investor here that remains for me a matter of prime importance.

Certainly the good news in the latest RNS was presented as if it were more exciting than Seekinvalues reading would make it appear, and thus some large and important investors who post here have signalled their surprise at the relatively small price rise.

This is no great surprise. CH acknowledged over three years ago when the SP began to weaken that he needed to do a lot more to popularise the share, especially among US institutional investors. In the subsequent three,or so, years he has done absolutely nothing to achieve that desirable objective. Zephyr still doesn't possess on institutional investorin the US, ( and from all appearences very few private investors ).

Up to now I have been a large and loyal investor in Zephyr and I still hold the faith, but I think we need some spectacular news,( on a farmin or a major investor in detail ), because the time for the one step forward and two steps backwards scenario should be over. An RNS identifying the momeybags complete with the actual plan of action is urgently called for!!

PS. I haven't changed the opinions I have been expressing in the "Yet Again " posts.

The Sp isbeing managed by the company and its brokers. Until the chosen partner is prepared to sign on the dotted line that won't change ,and the Sp increase will be limited. It may even drop again. the partner will have to be give security before the deal is done. We're still in the negotiations stage and Zephyr needs the partner and,thus, it is not in the drivers seat. Think it through !!

The share price is being managed and it it has been managed for a long,long time now. The putative investor has long since told the company what price it will pay for it's interest in Zephyr. Any deal will be conditional upon 36-2 being a resounding success and ,so far the company hasn't been able to fulfil that condition.

Just one more point , ( also a repeat), please note that Tyndall Investment still maintains all of it's holding and it is the largest shareholder in Zephyr. Now don't you think they know exactly what's happening here.Use the noddle!!

But the management is doing a pretty poor job of managing the SP. And yes it could do moe to help it prosper, such as have some of the directors buy shares to show their confidence.Please don't let's see excessive posting about closed periods. There havee been many ,many ,free periods over the past three years and no directors have dipped in. I now have more shares in the company than any of the directors apart from Rick and CH.

I believe they are negotiating with a mid sized oiler who hass already given them the buy in price circa 4p, but that presupposes a resounding success to be announced at 36-2! So bring it on!

Seekinvalue is entitled to his opinion. Only problem is there ain't a lot posiited to make it the only story.

Thanks for your replly NtD, and I do agree with your own conclusions. It seems logical to me that the farmin partner will try to couple a deal on Salt Wash and the wider Paradox.

I imagine a deal in which the farminer will take a significant slice of Zephyr. and a $40m input woulldn't surprise me. Indeed a buyout might even be a possibility. Remember CH's answers to the question : Would you sell the company : have always been a resounding YES. But there I'm probably pipedreaming!!

Nevertheless I believe that we must be on the verge of something important. Go well!

And Harryshang earlier. Of course that is correct and it has been the case for a long long time now. The reason is simple and it is probably reasonable.

The fact is that the management serioously wants to have a farmin partner or a large scale investor to increase the pace of progress in the Paradox Project. And since they want to achieve that sooner rather than later the putative partners will only buy in at a reduced SP which will give them a fairly guaranteed immediate profit from their venture.

The likelihood is that the same partner(s) are also interested in Salt Wash as part of the bargain.

But one of the prerequisites for the putative partner is that 36-2 is shown to be a resounding success. Only then will they strike a deal.

Zephyr are not in the driving seat here and some of the directors have very large shareholldings from which they wil wish to profit in the shorter term.. My opinion is that the deal will be done in the near future and my opinion is that it will help to propel the SP to new highs.

Nothing different here from what I've been posting for many months now. If you're not in now it may be too late to make a killing.

And the price the investor requires is circa 4p. So there it hangs awaiting the positive news relatinhg to 36-2 and Salt Wash. Also,papaduke, nobody is buying in £100000 trades. In fact the average trade is derisory. See what happens when the farrmin or buyin is confirmed! Events will reveal the obvious quite soon. No more to say!!

Nobody taking note?? The Sp is beimg managed by the company and its brokers to hold it at a satisfactory level for the farminee or the major investor alluded to by CH in his recent interview. The investor or farminee will not move until 34-2 is declared a cast iron successs. There is also the likelihood of a group of small investors using the situation to profit. But that is minor.
