Some disagreement.20 Nov 2024 12:04
..with James Oxford and ollworker 1. I still hold the vast majority of the shares i held three years ago and I am certainly not happy with the drilling progress nor with the mixed messages we have been givem but ,oddly, I don't see this as the time to sell.
While we are waiting for the lateral drill there are many things which can cause the SP to accelerate. They could, for instance, complete on the $7M finance for the lateral and, more importantly they could complete a significant farmin with a prestige oiler which would propel the SP overnight. I believe the farmin will be achieved in the short term.
A major problem with Zephyr is that the majority of the BOD are not really oilmen and they are struggling with a concept which they don't appear to understand very well. They seem to be perpetually surprised by events at the drilling end. Nor are they financial negotiators. The paltry $7M of the latest finance has, so far, taken almost three months to negotiate and they still haven't finished it. Their commercial nous appears to lie in buying into nonops with shareholder s money, which won't butter the parsnips in a way that will improve the SP in any significant manner.
They need help from more experienced oilmen. That's why the farmin is so important. May it come soon. Very soon!
