Still can’t buy in any quantity above 10k shares on line for the second day running - but can still sell 100k shares for 0.825. Seems to be stuck with the MMs in this position for some reason.

Yes we are getting buyers when the spread is still about 25% which I guess shows some confidence.

Thanks for providing an explanation. We do in any case seem to have some buyers now that they have dropped the Ask.

Don’t understand the explanation that you would keep a large spread because you think no one is interested in buying.

How does that explain the spread? If no one is interested surely you drop the Ask until they are?

Anyone any ideas why we are being hit with such a massive spread over this time period with recovering oil prices?

Seems we have the answer to the price drop on Tuesday. No sign of a large delayed sell in the background, but the SP has risen by as much as it fell before and some volume been created for the brokers.

Yes, either we will get a delayed sell reported or there will be a couple of small buys tomorrow and surprise surprise the SP will rise.

Can’t see that level of buys or sells is justifying any price movement at moment. Suspect price changes are just an attempt to drive share turnover.

Broadly agree, Copper3. Don’t know if it will make any real difference but I think costs on Wressle have been awarded, but not yet paid, so may be a little to come back still. On the costs/overheads, I would like to be assured that they are taking a strong approach to living within means in the short term - how much work can the management team really be doing to add value at present? 20% reduction may sound ok (elsewhere others are taking 30% plus cuts) but I would like them to look at current income and then ensure costs/overheads were based on this rather than reducing from salaries set pre virus and oil price drop.

Sure like everything else now this will take its time to recover and there always seems to be a keen seller on any move. Everything seems very unpredictable at present. Just would like to see how the sp might react if we could get 2 or 3 positive bits of news out in a row - can’t honestly remember that happening in recent years!

Yes I think that is all the consultation stages successfully completed - suspect we now have to wait for Ministerial sign off - so perhaps dependent on formation of new Government - or the current Minister in place could sign it off, as he did with the Vermilion Corrib maintenance survey, if no new Gov looks likely in the near future.

Should be fine with all the money raised for the Irish surveys that haven’t taken place - so long as they stay cost wise over the next few months.

I think it’s just a recording error on that strange buy for 1.2 yesterday - we are actually unchanged in the 0.8-0.9 range.

Not sure you bring on a non exec for a single fund raise. Don’t doubt that we will need to raise money idc if we go after other assets, but want to see from the accounts what we have done with the 1.5 million plus raised for the Irish surveys before getting too concerned about a fund raise for Wressle. Egdon may be a different case but that’s got nothing to do with this appointment.
