RE: Buy Out18 Nov 2018 20:15
I feel like stamping my foot. I don't want a buy out. I want to remain a shareholder and watch BMN grow to become an industry leader.
Takeovers can take awhile though. I bought Sky shares a few months before the Murdoch takeover shenanigans began. He offered £10.75 a share in Dec 16. It got held up for over a year due to parliament, Ofcom, CMA reports, etc. During that time the value of Sky increased due to strong results and winning rights to Premier League football. By Feb 2018, the share was trading higher than the takeover offer. In April 2018 Comcast entered a bid of £12.50 a share. A bidding war started and it eventually went to a blind auction in September 2018. Comcast won with a sealed bid of £17.28.
Obviously BMN is a different kettle of fish, but the renewable energy storage sector is moving along at quite a pace. BMN is already a vertically integrated Vanadium producer, add in Bushveld Energy and the company's value will increase exponentially. And, as it has already been said, we have other sizable ore assets.
In our sector, we're not just a one trick pony, we're a multi trick unicorn.
Fortune, Mikhail and shareholders won't want to let BMN go easily.
