We often praise Bushveld Minerals management team, with Fortune Mojapelo and Mikhail Nikomarov often in the spotlight and rightly so. However, as a lady myself, it's inspiring to see women in top management positions. BMN has Kate Bredin - Head of Compliance and Chika Edeh - Head of Investor Relations and Public Relations.

There is a recent article on Chika Edeh in 'The Female Lead' (see link below). It's an excellent piece that highlights what an asset she is to Bushveld Minerals. She not only has a Master’s in Finance and Investments, but in Chemical Process Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry; a strong CV for our industry.

Chika also volunteers in Africa and works for charities that have a focus on young girls’ education, and wants to fight mental health stigma. Giving back to the community and Africa is an ethos she shares with Bushveld Minerals. The more I learn about the company and its talented people, the prouder I am to be an investor.

Just caught up on all of today's posts. Thanks everyone. Well, finding out that we need to be on SETS to qualify for the AIM50 moved the goalposts but at least we are aware now. It's still a great achievement to have been eligible on our MCap.

I'm still as pleased as punch that we'll be on the AIM100. It will raise our profile and is another stepping stone to continued success. There has been a steady drip feed of good BMN news stories recently with more to come.

Following the strong operational performance during the quarter, the Company has postponed the kiln refractory shutdown to Q1 2019. The shutdown in Q1 2019 is anticipated to last for 26 days, with no production expected on 17 of those days'.

RK, thanks for taking the time to transcribe Fortune's Natural Resources Forum presentation. I watched it a couple of times, but found reading it helped it sink in better. Bushveld Energy really have the chance to get ahead of the game here. There have been a few trolls recently stating the demand for vanadium will reduce, or future new vanadium mines will affect BMN's value. The energy storage market will only add to our value and others too. There may be healthy competition but I believe we'll be industry leaders.

I wish the organiser hadn't cut him off early for audience questions, he was just about to quickly state "5 key areas they are involved in". If I were in the audience I would have asked 'What are the 5 key areas?" :) I'm gonna grab a cuppa and watch again.

Thanks Alfa, I believe renewable energy / energy storage solutions will be a huge part of the way forward, but every little bit helps. There is a big iron slag heap in South Wales doing nothing, so good on em. During the same snippet Sheffield University were growing plants using volcanic ash fertilizer. These plants were reducing CO2 emissions. So, innovative agriculture could play a part in reducing global warming too.

Interesting snippet on reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Cardiff University researchers have found that iron slag can suck back CO2. They put slag in a plastic bottle gave it a blast of CO2 and the gas began to bind to the slag causing the bottle to collapse inwards. They are looking at ways of doing this on a worldwide scale. Dr Phil Renworth (Cardiff Uni) said globally, half a billion tonnes of slag is produced and they think they could capture a quarter billion tonnes of CO2. They just need to devise a technical process to do it on a larger scale. That would be a turnaround if the iron ore mining industry could provide leftover slag to help limit climate change.

Thanks for the latest update Uksteveg. I have been checking the FTSE AIM50/100 constituents list every morning. It is great that the FTSE lists alphabetically, as BMN will be on the first page alongside other AIM darlings - ASOS, Boohoo and Fevertree (BMN is already my darling).

Another good day for this BB, enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and research, particularly about the electrolyte production. The Bushveld Energy RNS is very positive and shows we are on track with our plans. If potential investors join the dots of recent BMN news, i.e. Financial Times article, demand for vanadium, Mines and Money award 'Mining Company of the Year - Africa' ??, the quality of our management - Fortune Mojapelo, Mikhail Nikomarov and the rest of the team; they'll see this is a once in a lifetime investment.

Bushveld Energy's business plan not only focuses on the revenue generating activities of the vanadium value chain. It shows how BE will support local jobs and the economy in South Africa. And, provide the means to support the development of all of Africa's infrastructure through VRFBs and energy storage. A reliable electricity supply via renewable energy will improve the lives of millions, and help combat climate change. There will be considerable global support and funding for this going forward.

@Expert10201, I'm very sorry to hear about what happened at the cat charity you volunteer for. I hope they find the culprit soon. That was a heinous act, and anyone that could do something like that could escalate to do worse against animals or humans. Thinking of you.

I am feeling, a mixture of calm and excitement, calm as BMN fundamentals are so strong, but excited because of Bushveld Energy and future growth prospects. Investing on the AIM for the first time, it's a nice feeling to have!

There have been some excellent posts the last few days, thanks to everyone. I've cancelled my Kindle Unlimited subscription as I'm not reading as many books since I found this BB. I'm learning and researching so much, not just about BMN, but investing, chemistry, climate change and politics. BMN is not only enriching my ISA but my mind too.

This BB really is second to none. And, the odd autocorrect fail makes me smile. I had one of the most random, when it changed my 'C' in maths to a 'cucumber'.
