JMC69, your post made me chuckle. I can relate to your wish to reverse your Feb trade (if only we could). I imagine most of us are feeling frustrated and short changed by the way the AIM operates. BMN is a quality, profit making company, with so much growth potential, and in my opinion we're undervalued. My confidence in BMN is still strong, especially on the back of our H1 results and plans for the future. GLA
Great RNS today, and Fortune will be speaking at 'The Joburg Indaba' on Thursday 3rd Oct (see link to agenda). Interesting session order...
- Session Five: Energy Security. How do we ensure security of energy supply for the future? Eskom’s Perspective.
- Session Six: The Transition from Coal to the Future
- Session Seven: What Materials will benefit from the future energy landscape? The Energy Transition: What does it mean for mining? Fortune is third speaker.
I don't like to count my chickens before they hatch, but BMN do meet the localisation targets for phase 1 of the Eskom battery project. DYOR.
GLA :)

*I meant I'll message Mikhail to see if he's aware that the article on mini-grids is connecting Bushveld Energy with eXcess Africa, i.e. the article states "Bushveld Energy, also known as eXcess Africa." This is misleading.
I know MN is well aware of mini-grids :)
That recent article (26th Sept) refers to mini-grids across Zimbabwe (not solar plants as in May). There's been no news on this from BMN / Bushveld Energy, so it's probably safe to assume the article has mixed BE up with eXess Africa again. I'll try and send a message via the BMN website in case MN is not aware that the connection has popped up again.
Bushveld Energy and eXcess Africa were mentioned in another article (last paragraph). https://microgridknowledge.com/zimbabwe-minigrids/
To clarify further, Bushveld Energy is not eXcess Africa, and the articles also misspelt the name of the actual partner.
The Guarantee Risk Solar Energy partner is stated as eXess Africa on their website.

When reference to Bushveld Energy (eXcess Africa) was mentioned in Zimbabwe solar plant news articles back in May, it was confirmed as incorrect.
I remembered that @pb940 emailed Mikhail at the time, and this is @pb940's post on 13th May 19.
'Sorry guys, but just so this doesn't get out of hand I requested clarification from Mikhail Nikomarov and he responded very quickly and agreed that I let you know.
The following is his first email and then in response to my request to inform the bb.
"This is not correct. We have had discussions with this company (as we have with hundreds of others), but there is no agreement or commitment. They made some sort of external communication without our approval or knowledge. We found out about it on Friday and notified them immediately (they apologised and promised to retract).
Unfortunately, this happens from time in developing markets. You and other investors should be assured that if something material is confirmed, it will be communicated by Bushveld through appropriate channels. Similarly, if Bushveld communicates something, it is an actual deal / project that is material to the implementation of our strategy and not just “news for the sake of news.”
In response to posting his response.
--------------------------
I think that is fine – I definitely do not want people making decisions on false information. I love that Bushveld’s investors are so engaged and looking around for clues. Just bear in mind that if we have not communicated it, not only is it not a done deal but it could be completely “fake news” – to use the American term.
As I noted, I am trying to see what else we can do in this case.'
Thanks again to @pb940.
Just seen the article on Twitter too. BMN has been tagged :) https://mobile.twitter.com/VSUNEnergy/status/1177772195314974720
Great article on VFRBs gathering momentum. Bushveld Energy and Avalon Battery are mentioned, with comments from Mikhail and Matt Harper about leasing schemes (Vanadium Rental Shop).
"Plans for a gigawatt factory in Saudi Arabia, bullet-proof warranties and an international vanadium rental service are propelling a new generation of batteries into the energy storage big league. Pioneers of redox flow technology claim that they can put an end to the degradation and safety issues afflicting lithium-ion batteries. They also expect imminent economies of scale to reduce the cost of bulk energy storage and unlock new markets for solar power."

"In the aerospace sector, the importance of vanadium is that it ensures the low density, high strength and ability to maintain strength at high operating temperatures. Watch this incredible video of high-flying fighter jets."

Ha! That'll teach me to copy and paste - the article's copy editor must have missed the typo too :)
ATM in the UK news. Another positive article.
Excerpt: "Analysts at WH Ireland have been big backers and believe the miner is highly organised. Paul Smith said: “AfriTin has navigated both the capital markets and construction environment to build a new plant from scratch within two years. We expect the market focus will now turn to the ramp-up and the obvious potential to scale up at Uis and become a global producer of scale.”

https://atainsights.com/webinar-new-tender-large-scale-battery-storage-opportunity-in-south-africa/
"As you may already know, South Africa's electricity utility is about to develop a vast energy storage demonstration program, which could become one the largest markets for bulk battery storage, with associated procurement process expected to start later this year.
In this webinar, we will present the battery storage program scope and timeline and the opportunities it brings to those wanting to participate in the South African battery market. Although the event will not include live discussion, we will invite the audience to assess the opportunity and ask questions live during the webinar.
- Hear about the large-scale battery investment opportunity expected in South Africa and why it is key for the country at the system level
- Consider the timelines and milestones involved in delivering these projects
- Take part in the conversation, express interest, ask questions, or give recommendations to the speakers, express your interest in participating in the program and let us know how you see the project panning out."
Single protected transaction: A protected transaction occurs when a large order is going through the market. The buyer (or seller) may wish to keep the order anonymous from the rest of the market as the size of the order could greatly alter the price of the stock. With a protected transaction the dealer will put the trade through in small quantities rather than knock the whole order out in one hit. The entire transaction is reported once the deal is completed. The LSE is notified at the start and at the end of the transaction, however, the market as a whole isn't told until the end, thus the order is protected.
