I've read that you are or were invested in Redt Energy. If you're familiar with VRFBs, then how can you make the above statement when Bushveld Energy are in partnership with UET?

UET know their stuff when it comes to VRFBs and electrolyte issues. Real experts? Cream of the crop in my opinion.

Thanks SloppyG. I wish they would say what type of storage batteries they plan to use. Hopefully it will be VRFBs, we shall have to wait and see :)

Kev, I would expect the share price on the JSE and LSE to be very near to each other, as they will both reflect the value of BMN and its market cap. Obviously the exchange rate needs to be taken into account, 1 South African rand currently equals 0.054 Pound sterling.

mikeetg - regarding the upcoming JSE listing, my understanding of this is that when a company trades shares on multiple stock exchanges it won't change the number of shares you currently hold. Listing on the JSE will just make it easier for South African based investors to buy shares. That's a positive step in my opinion as Bushveld Minerals is a South African success story.

LIION, James0309 and goblesmythe - thanks for your replies regarding a frozen DB pension.

LIION - yes, due to the transfer value, I'll need the 'transfer out' signed off by a regulated financial advisor. I haven't got as far as the costs involved yet, only read the pension scheme rules. It's something to consider carefully in the new year.

Even if I don't transfer it, I have the majority of my bushy shares in an ISA. I think they'll outperform my DB pension and if the need arises, I can get at a few before I'm 55. It may be considered an over cautious decision, but selling all my other shares and going all in with BMN was a big move for me. Although, I've added a small AfriTin investment now too.

Enjoying a Bailey's coffee and pondering moving my frozen defined benefit pension to my SIPP to buy more bushy shares. Already moved small stakeholder pension a few months ago and fortunate to buy at under 28p. Not sure why I'm being so cautious, I trust BMN fundamentals and future growth prospects. If I do take necessary steps, getting advice etc, even buying in at a £1+ would still be a good investment especially when they start paying dividends.

Will park for now, pop The Greatest Showman on and get my Hugh Jackman fix in peace.

There's no mention of how the solar plant will store excess energy. I asked the question on twitter but no reply as yet. I can envisage VRFBs being ideal for this plant and many more like it.

I've always thought of us as a small cap mining company, with the potential of moving into mid cap range when Bushveld Energy takes off.
