Yep, I think he will be all over this ensuring it gets done. Unfortunately that RNS was read by the AIM market as "delay", not "delay for a good reason".

That makes zero sense, a short and long would just net out.

Also longs will be used as collateral for margin.

Cash raissed from shorts is also ring-fenced collateral by prime brokers.

You would simply reduce your long position, and not pay the financing fee and stock borrow cost of the short

Every trade is a buy and a sell by definition. Otherwise the trade doesn’t happen.

Ignore the buy/sell indicator - all it shows is whether the price traded was above or below the mid at the time of trade.

It’s 9am, are you going to ramp every hour?

What is your fair value SP and on what NPV/valuation basis?

It’s amazing how many people think buy and sell indicators mean anything on LSE.

As you say, every trade require a buyer and a seller to fill.

It’s flagged as a sell if the trade price was below the mid, a buy if above.

Ignore “buy” or “sell”, the price is all that matters
