er........
* My not Might
Might "zero interest in a dividend" meant some sort of interim dividende from WK not the big one from the sale!!
Sorry if I was misleading there
Zero interest in a dividend, woudl rather they use the money to progress DFS, license, oeprational build-out etc
This is a risky buy and has been all year, huge potential upside, but with oibvious geopolitcial risk. Would I invest now? Absolutely but with less than I did at 25p :(
Bannister: "Confused as to why people keep saying it's a 'great update considering the war' yet the BOD have mentioned several times the war has had barely any impact on them.. so why is it taking so long?"
Its a somewhat reassuring update, and lets face it at least its some communication from the BoD which is better than none we have suffered in the past.
Its "great consdering the war" becasue the war could have had direct and negative consequences on EUA operations or finances (aside from the delayed sale) and it hasn't.
Thought Tigra's comments were fair if a little pint-half-empty. There are no armed guards at WK as any Russian who can hold a gun is being sent to their deaths in Ukraine (without a gun or body armour or food)
I would say the mix is more:
10% useful backers and critics
10% useless criticism
80% mindless ramping
Which is typical of most LSE boards
It’s looking crap
Stop the endless pumping
and a 100% dilution?
username checks out
Why are people positive here (except for desperate rampers)? Shares potentially going to zero
"As previously announced, it is expected that any de-leveraging transaction will result in very significant dilution of existing equity interests in the Group and there is no guarantee of any recovery for holders of existing equity interests. The Company does not expect the Chapter 11 filing to result in a suspension of trading in its shares on the London Stock Exchange."
"Get in whilst you can because once this goes these low prices will never be seen again."
classic nonsense ramping line
but holding on with grim determination
Good that events are happening I suppose, irrelevant if EUA are not there
I am a real shareholder and been here almost 2 years, I have no choice but be patient as I am 70% down!
Let's see if the DFS actually arrives on time, unfortunately I expect no communication, support or news from the BOD before then
good post lovelyboy
no one knows for sure but I am thinking along the same lines as you
DD company is sitting on the wings, waiting for war to calm down to some extent, will apply a X% diso**** factor depending on the nature of the resolution to the conflict / lifting of sanctions
Doing a DFS on MT. DD has asked for it, or BOD have decided to press on and further increase sales price or attract additional parties with a more secure and credible valuation.
Veru useful comments CAW, thank you
(I'll ignore the rest of the argumentative crap that inevitably follows any sensible conversation on here)
Exactly what I thought would happen.
Rationally I don’t see why the news is a vote of confidence and perplexed why NCM turned it down
Daft post is daft
It is pretty blooming clear, and those trying to put any sort of positive spin on this are nuts
"Any deleveraging transaction will likely result in very significant dilution of existing equity interests in Cineworld."
Todays RNS
Great to see and speaks volumes as to future SP
does +10% constitute a rocket?
