I believe that'll be the outcome, given the incompatability in the respective US-IRAN positions etc

FARM OUT I would think and given the ref. in the Feb RNS - (Farm out discussions) "are nearing completion and we are pushing to complete negotiations in short order." That along with the MRPAM 'successful' meeting which would have signed off the 2026 Works Program.

I expect the big news to be the Farm Out deal, for which a firm proposal was already receive and which CEO Buck indicated would be the significant development for major shareholder value increase.

Why do you think the price shot up? Maybe something as tenuous as a US-Iran ceasefire, in the hope that the focus for peace would switch to the Russia-Ukraine issue - again, extremely tenui=ous association and with Putin obviously have a bigger plan that he's single mindedly seeingnthrough.

The dire financial reality & very real propspect of complete ordinary shareholder wipeout is just that though - a very possible reality.

We know emergency funding is required regardless and the prospect of a placing announced, so let's see what Wednesday's trading statement says about that. You may understand whyn the price rise you refer to would more accurately be seen as a 'Dead Cat Bounce'.

The 17.5p support is still a very real prospect and beyond the greater threat of complete retail shareholder loss.

"we have to go from facts and be realistic" - hope that's FACTS enough and based on actual resourcec estimates etc & acknowledging a Zero debt, 100% owned asset and with a company nrevenue producing, with a near field program on mentioned wells paid for & concluding a Farm Out deal that should significantly upscale production - revenue and by association materially re-rate the SP.

Usual market cabveat but excellently positioned by all accounts - anyone who doesn't see the opportunity will look elsewhere. Quite simple ;)

Go back to the actual Investment case rather than emotion based commentary.

- Asset Value (in ground) - $150M-$300M (only Heron) but we've been told that modern methods over the whole field could significantly increase this.

- GOBI could increase NPV reflecting a share price of 22p -35p

- Renewables USD Billions pouring into the space & a CEO uniquely positioned to capitalise

- BLOCK 7 potential multibillion bbl etc

Just taking a base case Heron shows a massive disconnect to the current Mkt Cap/SP

What the SP actually shows is the massive OPPORTUNITY and given true value isn't necessarily an instantaneous development or there would be no 'Opportunity' within the non-dividend paying stock prospects.

I've been optimistic with timeframes in the past & hold my hands up to that lol, albeit I've also been spot on on occasions and also re: strategic developments ex ACWA involvement, massive Renewable funding input etc. However, this time I think it's very reasonable to expect the Operational update quite literally any day now (Winter thaw, Satellite imaging showing Well site activity etc)

i also believe the delay in the Operational update, given movement has already been detected, is that the usual comprehensive RNSs will be containing the Farm Out deal being 'concluded'.

Btw, the Gobi well test within the next week, with hydrocarbons already proved, would increase MATD's NPV by x25-30 if conformed commercial - and that alone beyond the already proven revenue generating assets. Don't want to go into it all here, as this is the FXPO board, but don't miss the train as i see you poking around there sometimes ;)

Back to the actual Investment case. The Renewable capex finance pathways looking very positive indeed & very promising with our 200MW Hybrid Project approaching 'build ready' in Q2/3. Operational activity picking up for the new drilling season and GOBI paid for and should be ready to go.

To reierate/clarify: GOBI is 'lab proven' and the upcoming Well Test will be looking to confirm that (or not), rerating the NAV to circa 22p-35p!

Zero Debt company, Revenue Generating with a 100% Owned Asset - Pretty exceptional investment opportunity imho!
