I'm not sure if you are aware, persimmon (it sounds like you're not), but the cost per barrel for oil produced at Wressle is $17. That includes ALL the costs you quote - planning, objections, transport etc. etc. So the profit is currently about $58 per barrel. Hardly a 'very small fraction', is it.

Shareholders should be able to contact the company and the Chairman. The Chairman is there for the shareholders. Of course using abuse to make a point to him is not acceptable, if that is what is happening.

I have been a big supporter of DB for years, I like him and he is far clever than people realize. But I think there is not enough emphasis from him on THE SHARE PRICE. I don't care if UJO has mid-tier status. I don't care what the market cap is. Shareholders are concerned about..........THE SHARE PRICE. A leaked placing (thanks TW) is a disaster for shareholders. Get a loan please David, instead of this toxic ****ing placing.
