No doubt, since RPS is highly regarded within the industry, their opinion will carry considerable weight when it comes to monetizing West Newton, persimmon. And yes, of course it will be transformational to the company, unless Corallian has already been sold of course (which could be imminent).

Just to point out, GP, they aren't maximum flow rates either - they are first month average daily production figures, which are likely to be increased with the natural fracturing that has already been identified. Remember the 'vuggy' nature?

James, you seem to think placees are given inside information before they participate. They aren't, so they have to make their investment decision on facts that are already in the public domain, just like the rest of us. A 20% discount looks about right to me considering the SOU 'offer' is the only one we know about.
Gideons, there are some small O&G companies with a fair bit of cash at the moment, and of course surely Shell must also be one of the interested parties. I don't think it's likely SOU are representative of those showing interest, but it will suit certain poster's agendas to suggest they are.
