It wouldn't be all house money, and i am reckoning on quite a correction to property prices over next 12 months, hence a short term rental.
I'm into AML at average of 62p, having leveraged upwards on Wednesday. Just before Stroll's placing!! I had intended to buy far more at anything sub 70p on Monday. However restricted amount in on Weds, just as price was falling, since the market obviously knew placing was coming on Friday.
Intention is to buy next week if price drops at least a further 5p. That would bring my average to 49p, which i believe will leave me well placed.
The money if all lost, would deny me a 3 bed house, have to settle for 2 bed, for me and the dog. That's fine, since i'm done with women, as they are too expensive!!
I've lost far more on the fairer sex, than stock market!!!

So clever, he accepts a position reporting to 2 big hitters. Stroll and Moers.
Well, he'll be ok in the winter, since there sure will be plenty of heat in the boardroom.

Stroll and Moers are very aggressive 'sales' guys.
Gregor has a strong reputation for a bean counter, aka a 'brakeman'.
So expect some bump and grind!!! To put it mildly.

Cars. Yep agreed. Here we all are loaded into AML, in the eye of the mother of all storms. A company being tossed all over the place, with new everything, Board of directors (virtually), management team, sales lines, massive debt. Then chuck in the new, massive and totally unknown effect of a virus.
Makes for interesting times. Which will lead to a risk all, sxxt or bust situation.
Keeps the adrenalin going though!!
Dunnie, again agree with you. Shame it wasn't covered off in the RI, but that may have been too early with Stroll still waking up to smell the coffee.

Think most of us here are pointing in the same direction, despite volatility in AML share price increasing by the week.

Roxbury. I think i'm on the same page with you. I read the 'trading update' when released on Friday. However, there isn't any comment on any trading within it. Stroll's positivity was limited to destocking, hiring senior folks, getting St Athan's back open, surviving covid, re-opening dealers, drawing down loans. All good stuff, but none of that actually adds to the income line.
Hence my fear that Q2 will be horrendous, and he needed to act very rapidly to get the placing done, since it will be very difficult/impossible for him to raise further finance after that.
I desperately hope he is successful, since i will benefit. However, we must remove the rose tinted specs, and accept that this isn't a 'Stroll' in the park. Hopefully, he won't have to stroll in the park any-time soon.

Nicky/ Roxbury. Yep, i've been bitten by the desire to make money, and the tantalising situation with AML. If you wrote a book about AML over last 2 years, it would be on the fiction shelf!!
I kicked off with them at £4.80, did the RI which took me to ave of £1.20, then chucked more at it when at £0.35, which averaged me down to £0.55. Then things got interesting sold the house i owned with the ex. So with my £200K, i decided to rent whilst property drops over next 12 months!! So, sat here with £200k watching AML!! Yep, ok I'm a masochist and pumped in £10K on Weds at £0.64, increasing average to £0.62. Then Stroll does placing on Friday. So, twiddling thumbs for weekend, knowing if it drops to 45p to 47p on Monday, i'll be back with a further chunk of dosh!!
Heart definitely ruling the heart!! I just hope that fortune does favour the brave. But, then Stroll leads the line in being brave. But, i bet he's not using his house money currently!!!

This stock has probably got the longest piece of elastic tied to it, and it will rebound whilst it is boomeranging.
New film comes out as US election is concluding. Both could send share price either way, at the same time. So whilst the price is going forward it meets itself coming backwards.
Both events will give large temporary swings to price.
The F1 connection is more likely to have longevity to aid share price.
But it's the numbers that under-pin everything. I think they will improve, but it will take a couple of years.

My heart and head feelings are increasing and getting further from each other.
The gap between the factual past, and the hoped for future widens.
Concerned that this fund raise wasn't covered off in recent RI, which in itself was a massive dilution.
Concerned with speed of Friday's fund raise. Loyal shareholders were left dangling on the shelf, having to market buy.
There is a view that Stroll needed to get fund raise out of the way, prior to Q2 results, which will be horrendous. Far worse than the market is predicting. Let's not forget Stroll already knows 99% of the Q2 figures. Will AML have actually sold a car!!!!
So, my head is telling me to run away fast, and head for the hills. Just look at the numbers, and the eye watering debt.
My heart says, go buy some more, and go all in!!
A lot of macro things at play here too, Covid, recession, The States.

So what to do...... Wait for Monday, see what price does, and probably follow heart!!!

More adrenaline rush, than an AML sponsored car in next year's F1.
So what now?
Over the pond, likely to open unmoved, so that won't spark anything.
I'm in here big time, and just trying to add at sub 55p, since i think new settled price will be 56p.

I reckon they'll go at 47.5p.
Stroll in at 69p. Price ranging around 70p of late. 80% of 70p = 56p.
12% off 56p, (12% is the cost of lending price AML have accepted. So 88% of 56p = 49p.
Less a margin. Say book build to 47.5P

Suggest to put a bundle on Liverpool to win the league. Just about a surer bet than AML. But, only just.

Newbie here, but been watching for a while.
My feeling, echoes the positivity behind this stock.
My position.
Sept 2019. Bought 316 shares @ £4.80.
RI: bought 1264 shares @ £0.30. Ave now £1.20.
April bought 5020 shares @ £0.35. Ave now £0.55.
Today bought 15,300 shares @ £0.65. Increased ave to £0.62.

Quite happy with my stance.

Sat waiting to buy more, if drops below. £0.60.

Why? Agree with all the positivity with this stock, despite horrendous debt position.
Plus, Stroll is in at £0.69. Anything south of this is a buying opportunity.

Come on all you AML share supporters, especially if you are just holding. Follow my example.

Morning. Just arrived, but been watching posts for a few weeks.
I echo other newbie comments. Quite a few helpful, mature comments appear here, and necessary to ignore and filter some inane ones.
I bought pre RI at £4.80 (yes really!!) when price was plummeting. Took up RI which got me down to £1.20. Last week topped up at 35.46P. So now sitting on average of 55p.
I can see £1.00 this year, and £3.00 to £4.00 in 3 to 4 years. £4.00 would approximate the IPO of a, then, ridiculous £19.00.
However, this is the new revved up AML, with a tank full of juice!!
Watched the 50p onslaught with interest y'day. Saw it breached momentarily around 11.00am, price within a minute went to 52.3p, and within a minute back down to 47.7p. All the 50p auto sells. But, as we know it advanced again.
Hopefully, will hold onto early 50p's today, and accelerate again during June (3rd?).
1 current question. Why is it showing at 49.7p here, whereas other platforms have it at 50.7p.
